Juneteenth Holiday Hike

Not a beginner hike

This hike is located in Dutchess County and has outstanding views of the Hudson Valley on a clear day. Some people find the initial climb difficult. The first stop is the old Casino ruins, then we will embark on a super secret trail to the Beacon reservoir. Finally, we arrive at the South Beacon fire tower. If you find the hike is too difficult you can simply follow the road/red trail back down to your car.

Summary:
Moderate/strenuous level
4 Miles
1500 feet of elevation gain
Initial steep climb, intermittent rough rocky sections
No rock scrambles on this hike
