OK I'll try this one more time. :) This is an analog-led ride.

Let's ride San Mateo's Laurelwood Park with option to extend into Water Dog, depending on group. Length and elevation depend a bit on route, but figure about 1200 feet of climbing and about 6 miles, This ride features some steep, punchy climbs, a couple of steep (or not, there are options) descents, and for sure some off-camber trails. There is potential to contact poison oak, which is just starting to encroach on the trails. Long pants help if you react to P.O.

The ride will climb Laurelwood Park trail, then hit Bottom Clencher, which features very short and punchy climbing sections. We'll drop down either Combover (not steep but narrow and off camber) or Backside Spine #2 (steep, with loose...moments). Group to decide. We'll then head up to Ralston via the fire road, then down Headbangers Ball, which is tricky but fun the whole way. Watch your head! We'll throw in a few other bits here and there around the park. Figure 60-90 mins depending.

We'll start pedaling at 5:00 sharp, so please arrive by 4:45.

Please don't bring guests who are not members of West Coast Mountain Bikers! Thank you. Liability and all that.
