Hike Sneffles Highline out and back

Details

For those who have not hiked Sneffles Highline, it's not to be missed. Starting in the deep woods on the north edge of Telluride it snakes up out into the stunning treeless basins of the Mount Sneffles Wilderness.

This is an out and back of 9 miles, turning around at the pass at 4.5 miles (just west of Mount Emma) at 12,300' for a total relief of 3,500' (starting at 8,800')

Alltrails describes this as hard, probably because of the steady steep grade. The trail is well maintained.

Let's meet at the Cornet Creek bridge at the trailhead which is at the north end of N. Aspen Street in Telluride at 8:00. (If there is a consensus we can push that start time up to 7:30...)

See you on the 23rd!
