Exploratory hike from Kilpacker Trailhead and ending at Navajo Lake Trailhead (shuttle required). Includes fishing at Navajo Lake below El Diente, Mt. Wilson, Wilson Pk and Gladstone Peak, & includes most of the "Kilpacker Loop." 11.1 mi 2284 ft. Expect 2 mph (moderate).
Meeting at the ENDING trailhead, "Navajo Lake Trailhead Dolores CO" 37.805077°N 108.063°W at 10 am on Wednesday 7/30/25, to drop shuttle vehicle, then drive up to the BEGINNING trailhead "Kilpacker Basin Trailhead", 37.7968826,-108.041244. On trail by 10:30am. I will be OUT OF CELL RANGE 7/28-30, so contact me before then if questions.
