SMER hike

A meetup (weather permitting), held in coordination with the Railroad Bronies, focused on taking photographs for upload onto Wikimedia Commons within Temecula Canyon. This will include part of the historical route of the California Southern Railroad. The hike will be lead by a docent of the reserve, which is part of San Diego State University.

The hike will be over 6 miles long (to the turnaround point and back) and will include elevation gains and losses of over a thousand feet. Those attending are encouraged to dress accordingly, and bring supplies to sustain them over several hours (to include a way to keep items dry and to dry your feet off due to the possibility of fording the Santa Margarita River. The hike will begin at 8 AM, and it is expected to last several hours.
