Systems Thinking with Data Love Co.'s Jasmine Motupalli
Kiln Co-Working Space, 2101 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO, USWhat does evacuating refugees from Afghanistan have in common with building your first AI assistant? Both require the ability to think systemically, and that's exactly what Jasmine Motupalli will teach us.
As Founder & CEO of The Data Love Co., Jasmine brings a perspective shaped by high-stakes decision-making: U.S. Army combat veteran, military intelligence analyst at the Pentagon, teaching operations research at West Point, coordinating humanitarian evacuations with Allied Airlifts, and now guiding teams and entrepreneurs to build AI with clarity and purpose. When your training ground is environments where thinking clearly can save lives, you develop frameworks that cut through complexity fast.
Join us for an interactive session where Jasmine will guide us through DSRP, a systems thinking approach (Distinctions, Systems, Relationships, Perspectives) that she's used in military strategy, crisis response, and now AI development. You’ll learn how to apply DSRP to clarify problems, structure your thinking, and design more effective AI assistants and workflows.
What You'll Experience:
- Learn the DSRP framework that military strategists and AI builders use to navigate complexity
- Practice thinking about your thinking through a hands-on exercise
- Discover the essential pre-step to building your own AI assistants
- See how systems thinking prepares you for Women in AI Colorado's learning labs
We all need frameworks that help you see clearly, consider multiple perspectives, and act decisively. Systems thinking is that crucial foundation to help prepare your mind to work alongside AI with creative agency and intent.
