Scaleable Lean Manufacturing and Open Robotics Platform

Details

Join our next Women in Robotics meetup to network with other women in robotics, learn about robotics jobs and here from the team at Ohmni about their lean manufacturing process.

Kambria is an open innovation blockchain platform that aims to accelerate the development and adoption of advanced technology by incentivizing continual collaboration between world-class researchers, scientists, engineers, manufacturers, and large companies. Kambria was established by the entrepreneur team of OhmniLabs, a mature company building highly capable and affordable personal robots using lean manufacturing techniques and processes. The founders Jared Go, Tingxi Tan and serial entrepreneur Thuc Vu, are robotics experts from Carnegie Mellon and Stanford who have extensive software and hardware development experience including AI, machine learning, multi-agent systems, industrial design, mechanical & electrical engineering, and cloud infrastructure.

Drawing inspiration from other widely popular open source operating systems like Linux and Android, the core of the Kambria platform is an open repository comprised of a high-level behavior library and modular hardware and software components for robotics.
