Dear All, Tonight's discussion topic, on Zoom, is Analytics. Many of us are struggling with Google's GA4. There are alternatives and we hope there will be volunteers to demo them. Alas, Sandeep, who is a tremendous speaker, is unavailable to demo GA4.

For instance, some alternatives include:
Independent Analytics: A privacy-focused analytics plugin that operates entirely within your WordPress site, ensuring data remains on your server. It offers real-time stats, page views, referrers, and device types without relying on external services.

WP Statistics: This plugin collects data independently, providing insights into overall traffic, online users, and search engine referrals. It emphasizes privacy by anonymizing visitor IP addresses and complying with GDPR by default.

Matomo Analytics: An open-source analytics solution that offers comprehensive insights while ensuring full data ownership. Features include web and mobile analytics, A/B testing, custom reports, heatmaps, and session recordings.

Open Web Analytics (OWA) An open-source web analytics software that you can host on your server. OWA provides detailed insights comparable to other analytics tools, supporting frameworks like WordPress and MediaWiki.

SlimStat Analytics: A comprehensive analytics tool that offers real-time data, customizable reports, and geolocation tracking. It emphasizes privacy and integrates seamlessly with WordPress.

Jetpack Stats: Part of the Jetpack suite, this module provides simple and concise site stats, ideal for bloggers seeking straightforward analytics without extensive configurations.

Conversios: Designed for WooCommerce and eCommerce stores, Conversios integrates with Google Analytics to provide enhanced tracking and insights tailored for online shops.
