(See English translation below)
-------
- ascensiones a cimas

ENGLISH
🏔️ If you’re drawn to long mountain days, big climbs, treks that take you beyond the everyday, and adventures that leave a lasting mark, this is your group.
Yepalo Summits is Yepalo's space for people looking for more demanding adventures
in nature:
- hikes with significant elevation gain
- summit ascents
- multi-day treks
- other outdoor adventures that invite you to push yourself, learn, and experience the mountains more deeply
This is where we come for big views, shared effort, beautiful landscapes, and that special feeling of being truly out there, away from the noise and closer to nature.
We mainly organize challenging hikes and multi-day treks, but also some adventures such as kayak traverses, canyoning, via ferratas or climbing, depending on the plan and the destination.
Always in small groups and with qualified professional guides, because we love adventure, but we also care about doing things properly.
Not every activity is the same, but the spirit of the group is: active, rewarding and memorable adventures for people who enjoy challenge and want to share that energy with others.
## Important: the spirit of the group
Yepalo Summits was created to bring together people who enjoy the mountains when they come with a challenge: more elevation gain, long days, treks, traverses and adventures that leave you with stories worth remembering.
We want this to be an open and welcoming group, but also one that is clear about the kind of activities we share here. Most plans require good physical fitness and, depending on the activity, some previous mountain experience or confidence in this kind of terrain.
You do not need to be an expert, but it is important to join with honesty and a genuine willingness to assess whether an activity is a good fit for you.
So before signing up, we encourage you to:
- read the activity description carefully
- check the distance, elevation gain, duration and technical difficulty
- make sure you have the right level and the right equipment
And if you are not sure, ask us first. We will be happy to guide you honestly. Sometimes we will say, “yes, go for it,” and other times we may recommend starting with a different kind of activity before joining a Summit outing.
If you prefer to take things step by step, Yepalo Hiking can be a great gateway to train, gain experience and prepare for future Summit adventures.
## 💚 Our way of being in the mountains
By joining our activities, you also connect with a way of experiencing the mountains:
- Respect for the mountains and for nature
- Safety comes first: reaching the summit is a bonus
- We follow the guide’s instructions
- We start the activity together and we finish it together
- Each person is responsible for joining activities that match their level
- Each participant must bring the right equipment
- If the weather or the conditions are not right, we adapt the plan and look for a safe alternative whenever possible
## 🌈 An open, welcoming and inclusive group
We want Yepalo Summits to be a space for adventure, camaraderie and mountains, but also for respect, care and a good atmosphere.
We welcome people from different backgrounds and want to maintain an inclusive and friendly environment for everyone. Discriminatory, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or disrespectful attitudes will not be tolerated.

🔝⛰️ Pedraforca (2506 m) - ¡Subimos a la cima! Hike to the top! - Senderismo
Sant Andreu Arenal, Barcelona, CT, ES🔝 A challenging hike up to the mythical Pedraforca mountain!
VER LA TRADUCCIÓN AL CASTELLANO + ABAJO ⤵️The Plan
🥾 The Pedraforca (2,506m), is one of the most emblematic mountains of Catalonia. Its particular shape with its 2 twin peaks (some says it has a heart shape) have given birth to many legends for centuries. The hike to the top of the Pedraforca has become one of the mythical excursions every mountaineer should do in Catalonia.
We'll do the hike from and back to the picturesque vilage of Gosol. Starting the ascent to Pedraforca from Gósol provides a quieter and often more solitary mountain experience, with fewer hikers on the trail and greater chances to spot wildlife. We'll ascend towards the shaded side of the Tossa range, passing through beautiful pine forests. We'll reach the ridge of the range and tackle the long uphill traverse to the Enforcadura. From this point, we make the final ascent to the summit of Pollegó Superior.🚦Difficulty: High.
Appart from the gain of altitude, the climb from the Enforcadura to the summit of Pollegó Superior is quite challenging and may require using your hands on more than one occasion. However, there is no sense of exposure.
Distance: 9 Km 🔘🔘⚪⚪⚪
Total elevation gain: 1100 m + 🔘🔘🔘🔘⚪
Technical difficulty: 🔘🔘🔘🔘⚪It’s important that each participant makes sure they have the right physical fitness to enjoy this activity safely and with confidence and enjoyment. We’ll be happy to help you assess it.
