"An Architecture Tour That Can Be Poison or Medicine"
In Japan, there are many architectural masterpieces that emerged not from traditional temples and shrines but from modern creations. The purpose of this tour is to convey why certain structures are considered masterpieces, whether popularly acclaimed buildings are truly noteworthy, and the underlying principles of architectural design.

Our guides for this tour are architects with rich experiences:
Itaru Yamamoto, who has previously served as an instructor for architectural tours and currently teaches architectural design at Keio University,
and
Akihiro Okamoto, who, with experiences in architectural design firms and architectural magazine companies, now engages in freelance editing and design.

Having crossed paths at the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Architecture, these two individuals will act as your guides, introducing the joy of architecture during the tour.

For those who enjoy strolls and exploring fine establishments, learning to appreciate architecture will undoubtedly add an extra layer of enjoyment to your weekends. This tour is designed for individuals who may know little about architecture but are interested. Our explanations will be clear, interesting, and accessible, targeting those who want to develop an interest in the field.

Please note that the entire tour will be conducted in Japanese. However, one of the guides is capable of some English, so feel free to ask questions during the walking portion.
