Los Angeles' Largest Cognitive Science Meetup Group!

The Los Angeles Brain & Consciousness Group, formerly known as 'BionicPulse', is a meetup group for people interested in the latest scientific discoveries and ideas about the brain, mind, consciousness, and psychology.

We seek to learn and share how breakthrough knowledge in the neurosciences, cell and molecular biologies, nutrition, medicine, related biotechnologies and even computer technologies can all help us understand and improve our cognitive abilities.

Our focus is on the mind and how it relates to our body, our family, and our society so that we may learn to optimize our roles in each.

Our meetups are about brain anatomy and physiology as well as understanding and raising our consciousness in many ways from physical mechanisms to social impacts to employing available tools benefiting mental and physical wellness through real science. The emphasis being science based on experimental evidence and testable theory. There are some important lines of thought about consciousness that include potentially valid but less scientific topics like higher intelligence and historical conceptions of God that are part of the discussion too. We strive to be on the very edge, but not (too far) over the edge.
