Announcing a new Meetup for The Baltimore Hiking Meetup Group!

What: Soldiers Delight ? both sides

When: Saturday, January 15,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Soldiers Delight Natural Environment Area
Deer Park Rd
Owings Mills, MD 21117

Well, I've been running further afield for hiking recnetly; figured it was time to host something a little closer in.

The Hike: This hike is an easy hike just under6 miles. We will hike the both sides of the park (east and west)
As long as Fido is leashed/well behaved, yes, this hike is pet friendly!

Directions: From I-695 take I-795N via exit 19 toward Owings Mills/Reisterstown. Take exit 7B on Franklin Blvd. west. Turn right on Church Road, left on Berrysman Lane, then left on Deer Park Road.

We'll meet in the parking area outside the visitors' center
. Look for a) a silver/grey Mazda6 with yak racks, and b) pair of overexcited dogs. Cell is[masked]

My best guess is that the address here is 5200 Deer Park Road Owings Mills Md. We'll meet ouside the park ehadquarters/ visitors center.

as a general rule: expect portions of the trail to be wet/muddy....plan accordigly.

Lunch after is alwways an option.
