Long week? Ready to transition into your inspired weekend?
The Creative Impostor: Chicago Women's Collective is hosting a casual social evening at Terri's place in the loop.
This month is spotlight on storytelling!
Our human brains love stories! Whether for entertainment, learning, social connection or whatever, we simply cannot resist finding out what happens next when we hear a good one. How do you as a creative woman use storytelling in your art, your life or your work? During this Creative Happy Hour, we'll provide paper & pen, or bring your own journal or laptop and let's spend some time with our stories. You can write, draw, or share them aloud! Andrea will lead us in a short collaborative story process once enough people have arrived. Of course, if the storytelling theme does NOT resonate with you at this moment, you are welcome to use the time to create anything your heart desires. Please let us know if you have any specific food allergies or dietary needs for our snack bar so we can make sure to have something for you!
While you're relaxing, enjoy some wine, beverages, herbal tea and h'ors d'oeuvre.
There is no fee for this meetup. Instead, we request a donation in the amount of your choice by cash or Venmo (Venmo to Andrea-Klunder) suggested $5-20 for refreshments and supplies. Your donations make the next Happy Hour possible.
This event is being held in a private residence in the Loop. Details will be emailed to people who have RSVP'd yes VIA MEETUP the week of the event.
We also ask that if you RSVP, you do your best to be there, and if you can't, you change your RSVP so we prepare for an accurate number of guests.
You are welcome to bring a guests who are not yet members of the Collective. Just mark your RSVP as such.
