Happy Hour @ Portal - Heated Patio, Lake-view Drinking - After Lake Merritt Walk

Happy hour time after the Lake Merritt walk! (You can just come to happy hour though ;) Come out for a walk around the Lake before, or just meet us here!
After a loop around the Lake (meet at 6:45 PM, to depart for walk at 7PM, then at Portal at about 8PM), we'll drop in to the outdoor patio at Portal Restaurant & Bar, a delicious "gastropub" with views of Lake Merritt from their patio, about 15 (many local) beers on tap, good wine, and soju cocktails. I spoke with the manager, and got our Lake Merritt Meetup group their happy hour special ALL NIGHT - just for our meetup group! Even after real happy hour ends! A rotating beer will be only $3 for the evening. Good food too, and awesome people!

We'll be arriving in the back patio at 8pm on the picnic tables if you are not already on the walk with us. Just tell the hostess you are there for Lake Merritt Meetup and they will direct you to us. If you've never been there, it's a local jewel of Eastlake! You are welcome to join us for happy hour around 8PM even if you aren't going on the walk.
