Join us for a run through one of our newest parks, the Cougar Squak Corridor, and into Squak Mountain State Park!

There are 5 mile and 10 mile options. Both start along “Margaret’s Way” trail.

The full course enters Squak Mtn & offers views of Mt Rainier, and reaches two summits on Squak Mountain (Central Peak and West Peak).

While a bit of a climb, these trails are runner friendly and in great condition. No Discovery Pass is required for parking!

And the Cougar-Squak park booklet:

Carpooling is encouraged. If you will need or offer a ride, I recommend meeting at Greenlake / 65th St Park and Ride at 9:20. See you Sunday!

The Sunday Trail Run is a TWICE monthly series. We run at home (Discovery Park / Seven Hills on 1st Sundays) and away (rotating series of scenic trails mostly on 3rd Sundays). "Away" runs last year included Tiger Mtn, Paradise Valley, Grand Ridge, Rattlesnake, and Alpine Lakes!
