Come watch Alex's Los Angeles Racing Dragons (LARD) team take home some racing awards while enjoying fun, sun, good eats, and cool friends. Bring a hat, sunscreen, a beach chair if you have one, and something to eat and drink. Wear red if you want to. Look for me(Tiffany) or call me on my cell at[masked] if you need last minute directions or encouragement, or Kelly on her cell at[masked].
This is a family-friendly event, so kids, parents or friends are welcome. We will congregate in front of the LARD red, black and white team canopy. The 2014 Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival will be held at Marine Stadium in Long beach on July 26 & 27, 2014. In addition hosting one the largest dragon boat competitions in California, there will be Chinese traditional art demonstrations, Chinese acrobats, traditional dance, hip hop, music and martial arts performances. Additionally, there will be vendors for food and souvenirs.
