Join us for a delightful day trip with a visit to Elmira’s Kitchen Kuttings offering specialty foods prepared by Mennonites, a hearty Mennonite-style lunch at Bonnie Lou’s Café in the nearby village of Floradale, and an afternoon of groovy nostalgia at the Drayton Festival Theatre with Yesterday Once More, a high-energy musical revue of the unforgettable hits of the ’70s. The show is produced by Drayton Entertainment, which is the third largest not-for-profit, professional theatre company in Ontario.

The Day Trip:
- Our day begins with a stop at Kitchen Kuttings, a Mennonite specialty food stop, located in Elmira, where you can find an assortment of homemade jams, pickles, preserves, both Canadian and imported fresh-cut cheeses, homemade summer sausage, old fashioned fudge, brittle, and a range of specialty local food. - Next up is a wonderful Mennonite-style, home cooked lunch at Bonnie Lou’s Café in the rural village of Floradale (near Elmira), with an entrée choice of chicken or beef.
- At 2 p.m., it’s showtime at the Drayton Festival Theatre for a professional-produced musical review Yesterday Once More.
- Put on your bell-bottoms, and be transported on a joyful journey back to the ‘70s – considered one of the best in the history of pop music – and relive a plethora of groundbreaking hits from Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Gladys Knight, The Carpenters, Stevie Wonder, and so many more.
- A decade of emblematic change, the ’70s invoked cultural, political, and technological shifts that forever influenced the global landscape.
- The show is a nostalgic celebration of the unforgettable sounds that shaped the minds and attitudes of an entire generation. Groovy!

Join us for a fun day in St. Jacobs, beginning with Canada’s largest year-round farmers’ market and continuing with an afternoon exploring the village’s charming shops, before wrapping up with a tasty stop at Picard Peanuts. Includes round trip transportation on an air conditioned coach.

The Day Trip:
- Enjoy a day in St Jacobs, one of the most popular shopping destinations in the area!
- Spend the morning at the St Jacobs Farmer’s Market, the largest year‑round farmers’ market in Canada. The market features more than 400 vendors in both indoor and outdoor settings where you can browse from the vast array of locally grown produce, meats, cheese, baking, and more.
- Lunch is on your own.
- At 1 p.m., depart for the quaint Village of St. Jacobs where you can spend the afternoon browsing in the unique shops of the downtown area, with exquisite gifts, crafts, fashions, antiques, and more!
- Or, if you prefer, you can stay at the Farmer's Market and continue browsing the market and/or visit antique and other stores in the area.
- En route home, stop at Picard Peanuts in the St. Jacobs area.
