WHO WE ARE
“Speaking your truth is an essential aspect of living a life of passion, fulfillment and authenticity. However, for many of us it, myself included, is much easier to talk about speaking our truth than it is to actually do it.” ~Mike Robbins.
We are a PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY in the Campbell / San Jose area. Our purpose is to create a platform for you to Speak Your Truth - to practice open, honest and compassionate communication as a way to create more JOY in your life.
WHAT WE OFFER
Our specialty is small-group classes led by Shannon - a professional facilitator and coach. During our meetups, you will learn new ways to think about your challenges and creative strategies to achieve your goals. Shannon is great at getting you to really think about how to apply the lesson personally so you make lasting changes. There's plenty of time to share ideas, make connections, learn as a group, and get inspired.
“I hadn't had the chance to be in a session led by you before, and you were WONDERFUL. Your voice, and your clarity of instruction + powerful questions to include the group = magic!" Niamh M.
We also offer: Self-Care Saturday Walk n' Talks, social outings (Happy Hours), the Unstoppable Soul Series and more!
Our topics are based on our 2017 theme, The Year of JOY: Capture the joy in your daily life! “Increasing joy is about learning to make your everyday experiences gradually a little more pleasant. It is not about creating the perfect moment or the absolute best experience, but slowly improving your daily experiences.” ~Jackie Kelm, author of The Joy of Appreciative Living.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that the key to creating more joy in your life is to awaken and deepen your connection to the virtues, or gifts of character, such as; joy, openness, honesty, compassion.
The Virtues Project is a global grassroots initiative to inspire the practice of virtues in everyday life and empowers:
• individuals to live more authentic meaningful lives
• families to raise children of compassion and integrity
• educators to create safe, caring, and high performing learning communities
• leaders to encourage excellence and ethics in the work place
As a Facilitator of The Virtues Project, Shannon uses this body of work as the foundation for all our offerings.
