What we’re about
IBM works with 1000s of clients in 170 countries around our world. Given the pace of change in markets and competition, many if not all of clients need to radically change how they develop technology and are embracing agile. We’re working to help many of them on their agile journeys, but we’re also on an agile transformation journey of our own.
For us, agility is not an initiative, it is a movement and a journey that can transform an organisation. It is the ability to navigate complexity with speed and clarity of purpose to achieve the best outcomes in everything we do. Agile thinking eliminates unnecessary processes and artificial boundaries to fuel a culture of radical collaboration and help us focus our energy on what matters most.
We are learning as we go and we have more to learn. This is why we want to create an Agile@IBM community to help enable learning and collaboration. The community will be open to everyone, IBMers, IBM alumni, our clients, those who we sometimes compete with… everyone who cares about agility.
Our vision is to host an evening MeetUp event at least one a quarter where super stars from the agile world will help us learn and grow.
