What we're about

A collective of the Bay Area Polyamory Groups. A place for polyamorous people to have a collected source for many poly-friendly happenings and resources in Marin, North Bay, San Francisco, Peninsula, East Bay, San Jose and Santa Cruz. Each group represented here is a separate entity. To learn about each group, please visit our ABOUT pages (menu bar on left hand side of this page). The group itself is not a dating or hookup app. If you're looking for that, there are many others to choose from. This is a place to list events of interest to polyamorous, open, RA, multiamorous, etc people. If you are unsure of what polyamory is, please spend some time here: www.lovemore.com

San Francisco: Poly/Non-Monogamy @ Wicked Grounds

Wicked Grounds

**RSVPs do not reflect actual attendance - events are listed on multiple calendars**

This is a gathering for chatting, socializing, and generally getting up to wacky hijinks at Wicked Grounds. This is not a discussion, activism, or dating group, but rather just a regular social gathering - we will repeat this event the 3rd Monday of every month. Feel free to arrive late or just stop by briefly.

We feel that it is important for all polya/non-monogamous folks to have a safe space to explore and meet others; therefore, we will hold this as a safe-space for everyone. While it's fun to meet people and make new connections, heavy cruising will not be tolerated. Please be respectful to each other.

• What to bring

Yourselves. Money to make a purchase (not required, GREATLY appreciated). A mask; Wicked Grounds is asking patrons to remain masked except when actively eating or drinking.

• Important to know

Wicked Grounds relies heavily on the support from their community, via Patreon, to stay open. They need a consistent $15 thousand per month in Patreon support. Any additional Patreon income will help sustain the cafe in the months and years to come. Please consider backing them at whatever level you feel most comfortable; we and Wicked Grounds ask not to give beyond your means. East Bay Polyamory Discussion Group (Online)

Location visible to members

NOTICE: Due to COVID-19 concerns, this group will be ONLINE until further notice.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, the East Bay Polyamory Group sponsors a monthly discussion ONLINE via Zoom.

ABOUT the East Bay Polyamory Group Online:
All are welcome! Poly, poly-friendly, and poly-curious of all persuasions and a variety of ages. As long as you're open and respectful, we're happy to have you join us.

The discussions are social events where poly folks can hang out online, enjoy learning things from a variety of speakers, discuss and share with other like-minded people, and enjoy each others' company. It's a social event, not a meat market or play party. (Nothing wrong with play parties but this isn't one.)

During SIP, we begin our discussion at about 7:30; it usually runs 60-90 minutes. The discussion group is a place to talk about what's going on for you in your poly life, both from the head and the heart. We love to meet and hang out with good folks who are into what we are. Come join our community!

Our events are supported by donations. Though we don't have physical hosting costs right now, we do still have costs for Meetup and Zoom, just to name a couple. So anything you wish to contribute to our discussions is happily received. We suggest $20 - $15 per person, with No One Turned Away For Lack of Funds. We appreciate all donations, and absolutely understand if you don't have anything to spare right now! During SIP, donations can be made via this special PayPal link:

Online event

**ADULTS ONLY **$10 donation per person is requested for our meeting space/site. No one will be refused for lack of funds. Please pay ahead using link below. (Refunds available only if the event is cancelled.)

This gathering is designed for us to get together and talk about our personal experiences in the poly lifestyle, create community together, and get to know each other through a format of sharing/response. We are inclusive of all poly styles and experience level, gender, sexual orientation, spirituality, size, color, age, etc - this is a very warm and welcoming group for all. Bring your questions, quandaries, insights, ideas, tribulations, and theories....and most of all, bring your desire to share ideas in a mutually beneficial and respectful way.

**Our meetings will be 2 time per month, on the 1st and 3rd sundays of every month while we are sheltering in place. We will limit our groups to 30 people and break out into two groups when we have over 12 people. To cultivate a container of safety we will be closing the meeting at 4:15 and no one will be admitted after that. We will close the meeting when we reach 30 people or the clock reads 4:15pm. Whichever comes first.

I hope to see all of your beautiful faces soon!

ONLINE: LGBTQ and Polyamory Peer Power group (San Mateo)

Hey folks! It's almost time for the Polyamory Peer Power meeting with the San Mateo County Pride Center!

Register in advance for this meeting:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link and information about joining the meeting.

Dawn says: Each computer/device will need their own registration, so don't forward your information to someone else. That will cause issues with Zoom. Instead, have them register themselves.

That said, it's ok to have more than one person on a single screen/Zoom account -- so long as you are already sheltering in place together! LOL

Also, if you've registered before, the link should still work for this month. Zoom is requiring some changes, so I enabled the Waiting Room function. Otherwise, the link should be the same. If your old link doesn't work, though (or you can't find it), just register again, and you should get a new email with the Zoom link.

This is a social and discussion group for polyamorous/open/RA/poly-friendly/poly-curious/etc folks in San Mateo County (and beyond).

Each month on the 1st WEDNESDAY, we have an ONLINE discussion at 7. Topics are announced as we get closer to the event. Sometimes we have guest speakers, sometimes we will show a video and discuss, and sometimes we just choose a topic to share our own stories around.

Come share your experiences and ideas with others, and learn from them in return. Get to know other poly/open/etc people in San Mateo County!

*The San Mateo County Pride Center is open to all, including LGBTQ, polyamorous, monogamous, monogamish, open, RA, poly-friendly, queer allies, as well as people from any background, race, gender or sexual identification, religion, political affiliation, and length of hair (or lack thereof!). If you are interested and respectful of diversity, we're happy to have you join us!

*In order to support the Center, we are now asking for a voluntary donation of $10-$15, no one turned away for lack of funds. Thanks for helping us to keep the Center open and accessible to as many as possible!

During SIP, you may make donations via the main Pride Center Website: https://sanmateopride.org/donations/
It would be great if you could add a note indicating that you are donating as part of attending the Polyamory Peer Power group. Thanks!

We look forward to seeing you on the first Wednesday at 7pm!

Dawn Davidson, and the Pride Center staff
