The East Bay Open Meetup is a monthly gathering of friendly folk from in and around the East Bay. This is primarily a social gathering for those who are interested in polyamory, non-monogamy, open relationships and/or BDSM/kink, or who enjoy the company of others who do.

Come one, come all! All are welcome! This event is posted on fetlife.com and Facebook as well. Have conversation with seasoned veterans, learn about polyamory from others, meet new people, or just have a beer!

In all things, enthusiastic consent is to be required. If you ever feel unsafe, find someone with a gold stars on their name tag.

This will become a recurring event, every 2nd Thursday of the month.

In the San Francisco Bay Area, the East Bay Polyamory Group sponsors a monthly discussion ONLINE via Zoom.

ABOUT the East Bay Polyamory Group Online:
All are welcome! Poly, poly-friendly, and poly-curious of all persuasions and a variety of ages. As long as you're open and respectful, we're happy to have you join us.

The discussions are social events where poly folks can hang out online, enjoy learning things from a variety of speakers, discuss and share with other like-minded people, and enjoy each others' company. It's a social event, not a meat market or play party. (Nothing wrong with play parties but this isn't one.)

During SIP, we begin our discussion at about 7:30; it usually runs 60-90 minutes. The discussion group is a place to talk about what's going on for you in your poly life, both from the head and the heart. We love to meet and hang out with good folks who are into what we are. Come join our community!

Our events are supported by donations. Though we don't have physical hosting costs right now, we do still have costs for Meetup and Zoom, just to name a couple. So anything you wish to contribute to our discussions is happily received. We suggest $20 - $15 per person, with No One Turned Away For Lack of Funds. This is an (ir)regularly scheduled meetup for non-monogamous folks of all stripes in the Sacramento area, from long-timers to those newly interested in exploring more. Singles, couples, polycules, triads, hierarchists, relationship anarchists, kinksters, non-kinksters, queer, straight, of any gender... are welcome. (Did I miss anyone? If you're practicing or interested in some form of non-monogamy this is the right place.)

This is an informal space to mingle, make new friends, and catch up with old ones. We ask that you respect others' pronouns, boundaries, and relationship choices, and practice affirmative consent. Ask before initiating physical contact like a hug, and feel empowered to respond, "no thank you"!

Please support our lovely venue, New Helvetia, by buying a drink, alcoholic or otherwise. They do not serve food but you are welcome to bring in your own and there are several take-out places nearby.

Hangout with other ethically non-monogamous folks. Play games. Make friends. Relax. We’ll be playing some simple online board games, card games, and generally socializing. Drop in for a bit, stay as long as you like.
