What we're about

We have renamed our meetup to reflect a more casual approach to wine & wine tasting & food pairing by adding additional & unique wine activities. Events include Wine Tours. Wine & Art Tours & the unique concept of Wine & Nature Adventure Outings. (Wine/Bike trips, Wine Kayak Outings, Foodie/Wine & Nature Outings.)

Occasionally we will invite vintners to offer their insights about their own experience in the wine industry while pouring their wines. And we invite wine drinkers to share in these discussions, treks, and tastings. Come join in the exploration.

TOM Bold aka: Koma Nahoa (Hawaiian Name)

We meet in front of the Union hotel in Occidental. We will drive up to the very hidden property in the redwoods from the Hotel.
This may be your only chance for quite some time to experience this amazing event. Visits were stopped after Covid Lockdowns were implemented.
* Our first stop will be to walk & explore the ancient & huge trees hidden in this private grove. This unique forest has the ability to create it's own weather. One of the trees has a small colony of little Brown Bats. Hopefully they will be home for us to see & photograph.

From here we will travel a short way to the hidden Sanctuary of 18 unique & endangered Wildcats. This is not a zoo. You will be up close & may even partially interact & touch one of the beautiful Cheetahs.
The last last new baby Cheetah came to them just before Covid shut things down. (Bummer) The baby has now grown up a bit.

*********NOTE: This may be your last chance to be up close to the baby Clouded Leopard. Once he reaches a certain wgt. He wlli be placed in his own compound world. ********
