Ok. Don't miss this short but super fun adventure Experience ! It's hidden in a private area in the Bohemian Grove Forest area. It"s a little Rugged to get to the first Waterfalls ; but really a short trek. Great for unique photos. AND SOME CLIMBING & CREEK CROSSINGS. Huge Jade moss covered rock formations, a Manzanita Fairy like Lichen mini forest, exotic mushrooms, Log walking, & more.

DETAILS: WE meet at the Union hotel in Occidental . In front of the outdoor garden area. *** For carpooling ; I'm available at the Petaluma Library 100 Fairgrounds Drive next to the Fairgrounds entrance. Meet time is on or about 9:30 am. You must call or text me for a ride. (925)[masked].
***You will need: very good hiking shoes or boots. High top hiking shoes are good, just use waterproof spray & use 2 coats. Bring a Small backpack or Fanny pack. I have hiking poles if needed. Not a long hike, as I can lengthen it depending on the situation. Its very rugged along the creek crossing to get to the first waterfall. Then more waterfalls as we trek in farther. ***Don't miss the beautiful Infinity pools !
The terrain changes in many places. Some up hiking & climbing. ** WE will be on the lookout for new MUSHROOMS sprouting also. The Distance is a slow go as we will explore & take photos & have fun.
BRING A LUNCH as we will dine in a sunny meadow creek side with a bathroom not to far away. (Hand washing available) ** NOTE: For new members , I will have all the Vino, water, energy drinks, juices, gourmet fruit & nut packs, trail bars, & more. (Bad jokes included)

******Please prepare for an amazing experience to be educated, enjoyed & remembered .

Very limited attendance .
********We meet in front of the Union hotel in Occidental. We will drive up to the very hidden property in the redwoods from the Hotel.

• Our first stop will be to walk & explore the ancient & huge trees hidden in this private grove. This unique forest has the ability to create it's own weather. One of the trees has a small colony of little Brown Bats. Hopefully they will be home for us to see, hear & photograph.

***NOTE: The new baby Clouded Leopard has arrived. Unbelievably adorable. He was Only 4 pounds. See him up close. But he is about 30 lbs now & has his own playground. They grow up fast!. Don't even think of missing this amazing experience !
From here we will travel a short way to the hidden Sanctuary of 18 unique & endangered Wildcats. This is not a zoo. You will be up close & may even partially interact & with one of the Cheetahs.
The last last new baby Cheetah came to them just before Covid shut things down. (Bummer) The baby has now grown up .

Such as: The cool Fish cat. The amazing Ocelot, The most beautiful Snow Leopard & many more fabulous wildcats.
