Once a month we offer a special Vibration class. Each consecutive Wednesday we offer a wellness class in a different style, but every class incorporates traditional Korean principles of energy activation, circulation (stretching), accumulation (breathwork) and meditation. We hope you enjoy the variety!
According to Korean tradition, light, sound and vibration are important forms of energy for healthy living. The format in this class is a little different than our regular meridian energy yoga classes; the emphasis is on energy activation and circulation through different forms of vibration and free dance. It's not about what you look like when you move - it's about feeling your own energy moving inside of you, finding your natural rhythm and connecting with the energy around you. The sound + vibration combination is meant to wake up your natural inner brightness - so you can be the light as you go back into the world!
Our classes are taught by qualified volunteer instructors, as a community service. We greatly appreciate your $15 per class donation, which helps us pay our rent. If you are a current member of national Body & Brain, our classes are covered by your membership.
Each class includes 15 minutes to check in & warm up, an hour to focus on your own self-care with our instructors, and a few minutes of sharing after class to connect with our community. Wear loose or stretchy clothing; yoga socks are good.
