Boston Game Dev convenes many of the game-creator meetups in the greater Boston area, Our goal is to create a unified source of meetup information for the game-making community in eastern MA.

Boston Indies
Boston Indies is a community of independent game developers in Massachusetts supporting hobbyists, professionals, artists, academics, and anyone else interested in the craft of game creation.
Our goals are to:
• Foster a sense of community among Boston’s independent game creators.
• Encourage creating games independent of large budgets and major corporations.
• Serve as a brain trust among local independent developers and create a positive environment for learning and getting critical feedback
We are completely agnostic with respect to technology, development platform, game type, and scope of game development. As long as you show up with an open mind, a helpful attitude, and you are committed to making your own games, on your own terms, you are welcome to join us.

Friends of BGD Event: Mightier X Critical Mass - Game Dev Lunch Crossover!
200 Lincoln Street, 200 Lincoln St, Boston, MA 02111, USA, Boston, MA, USCome eat and talk the latest gossip with two game dev groups at once! Mightier and the Critical Mass community join forces to explore Boston's lively food scene.
Details:
- The event is open to everyone involved in game development and Free to attend but you'll be buying your own food.
- We have a Capacity Limit, managed by Meetup. You must confirm your attendance on Meetup if you are planning to attend.
- Exception: Paying Coworking Members and those that co-worked the day of the event do not need to register and are guaranteed a spot to every event run by the space.
- Other Exception: Mightier Employees can also attend the event without registration.
- We'll be launching our way to a restaurant from the Critical Mass! Office Every Other Wednesday at 12:30 Afternoon.
- Meet us at the office before 12:30 else coordinate on Discord to meet us on location.
- Please add any food spot recommendations and vote for the ones you like within the Critical Mass! Discord.
- The Weekly destinations will be announced on Discord, the day of the event.

Friends of BGD Event: Free Game Dev Coworking & Afterwork Hangout

Details:
- The event is open to everyone involved in game development and Free to attend.
- We have a Capacity Limit, managed by Meetup. You must confirm your attendance on Meetup if you are planning to attend.
- Exception: Paying Coworking Members are always welcome into the space and can attend as usual without any event registration.
- This event will occur on the first Monday of every month, show up anytime either in the coworking day (9am-5pm) or afterwards for the hangout starting at 5:30pm until 7/8pm when people shuffle out.
- Enjoy luxurious amenities such as cheap coffee and free water from our convenient downtown location!
- Stay on top of industry trends and grow your skills as a developer by working alongside other industry professionals
