Run Boulder Skyline PLUS

Details
For this Saturday we will run the Skyline Traverse from Shanahan Ridge. If you have never done the Skyline before or have any hesitations, I would strongly advise you to hold off for now. The group will be running this route later in the fall with a slightly more chill version and more manageable temps. For those looking to put their hard work of summer long runs to the test, this will be around 21 miles with over 6,300ft of vert in the heat (76F) and humidity (83% at the start) of late summer in the front range.
We will depart from Shanahan Ridge Trailhead at 6am and run to the start of the South to North Skyline, South Mesa trailhead. We'll hit the 5 major peaks in Boulder, (South Boulder Peak, Bear Peak, Green Mountain, Flagstaff Mountain, and Mt. Sanitas). Most of the creeks are dry so plan on carrying enough water until we reach Eben G Fine Park (ie bring all the water).
Here are the route details from the FKT site.
Why start at Shanahan Ridge? Logistics. When we finish the run and take inventory of who still has a pulse, we'll make breakfast plans somewhere on Pearl Street. Afterwards you can then hop on the RTD SKIP Bus (download the RTD app) and be dropped off in South Boulder right where we started.
If you plan to meet us anywhere other than the Shanahan Ridge, please put when and where in the comments.
This will be an adventure of epic proportions!
