How to thrive in a creative business. A free day of creative thinking in October.

Join Allia Serious Impact for a free day of creative thinking in October.

Building a business is tough and sometimes lonely. So often we have to keep up a brave face to the outside world when inside we're feeling uncertain and isolated.

A full day to get great professional advice and ideas to grow your business. Find some new allies, stumble upon insights, feel replenished and refreshed, break the isolation and find some good company.

There will be space and time to think and reflect, and enough structure that you won’t get stuck staring into an empty coffee cup.

There'll be inspirational talks from creatives, passion-fuelled conversations, sharing stories of triumph and disaster, and of course surprise; but we won't be sitting down for hours at a time.

We’ll have lots of conversations - built around whatever needs, passions and challenges you bring along.

Some of the discussions we'll cover off:

-Networking for introverts

-Finding and motivating talent

-Sorting out finance challenges

-Staying motivated through the tough times

-Getting customers without feeling desperate

Come ready to share, shout, listen and get engaged!

The event will be held on Wednesday, October 24th. The standard part of the day will be 9.30am to 5.30pm with breakfast beforehand and drinks afterwards.

Please note the official REGISTRATION Page is here to secure your spot!

Johnnie Moore will be facilitating and he’s got a great track record for hosting events where people come back for more. You can check his video out here:

Mike Dicks has become an illustrator after many career changes. He’s a designer and humourist, working from his Brighton studios with guidance and advice from his dog, Scrabble. With Scrabble, Mike is the co-creator of Mike&Scrabble – a successful cartoon guide for dogs who own humans.

As a Creative Producer, Mike has been involved in developing multi-platform gameshows for brands such as the BBC over many years. He has helped inspire hundreds of creative people with wide-ranging, generous talks that provide an insight into the murky world of telling stories across multiple technologies.

Paul Smith will host this event run by Allia Serious Impact. Paul heads up CamCreatives, the largest creative community network of likeminded professionals in Cambridgeshire.

There are 35 free spots for participants wanting to join us on Wednesday, October 24th, people who are committed to making their business a success. All attendee’s will be required to enrol onto the Allia Serious Impact programme, giving you full access to their fully funded programme of expert business support. Full details will be provided upon registration.
