Looking for a relaxed way to play table tennis after work? Then feel free to join us! We meet every Thursday from around 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (18:30 - 20:30) at the table tennis tables at Lietzensee. Everyone is welcome – whether you are a beginner, casual player, or experienced. You are also welcome to bring friends along. The focus is on having fun, getting some movement outdoors, and meeting new people. Just show up and join in! ## How we play Usually, we have at least two tables available, as long as they are not already taken. Depending on the number of people and the mood, we either play casual matches, 1-on-1 games across two tables, or small friendly tournaments. This way, there is usually something for everyone. ## Good to know * Everyone is welcome. * Friends and acquaintances are welcome to join. * Please bring your own paddle if possible. * If you don’t have one, no problem – I will bring a few extra paddles that can be borrowed. * The group is loosely organized – feel free to just show up and play. * As we play outdoors, we are dependent on the weather. **Join us for outdoor grass volleyball in Hasenheide park!** This event is not suitable for complete beginners. We play with two nets. The "chill court" is for mixed-level play with 3v3 up to 5v5. The "competitive court" is for higher-level 2v2 play with beach rules. Be sure to wear suitable sports clothing and perhaps bring a drink. There are no facilities such as changing rooms and showers in the park. A nearby public toilet is also available, but it might be closed, dirty, or not have toilet paper. **Location**: We play in the narrow clearing, located between the two paths in the center of Hasenheide park, on the southern side. The Unity of Columbus Resource Group for the Homeless is seeking compassionate volunteers who would like to help serve and uplift members of our homeless community. This group is dedicated to sharing kindness, resources, and support with individuals who may be experiencing difficult circumstances. DateColumbus's Pickleball League is back — 8 weeks of casual open play, rotating partners, new connections, and honestly? A really good time. Whether you've never held a paddle in your life or you've been playing for years, this league was built for you to show up, get moving, and meet people IRL. **Never played before? You're in the right place.** For the first three weeks, we'll have on-site instructors ready to walk you through the basics in the first 30 minutes — no experience needed, no pressure, just good vibes and a little coaching. Our volunteers are also on-site every Monday to get you settled on the courts, introduce you around, and make sure you leave with at least a few new faces in your contacts. **How it works:** We run open play — meaning you'll rotate courts AND partners throughout the night.
