Join us for a special Friday night version of TEiP ST PANCRAS. Open minded discussions and the opportunity to learn from other people's perspectives and life experiences. This episode will explore the topic of 'PERSONALITY' by way of three original thought experiments (posted in the comments below on the day of the event). You can access the pub either from the street (entrance to the right of The St Pancras Hotel entrance) or via St Pancras Station (entrance from the upstairs train platforms). We'll be in the private dining room - ask at the bar if you can't find us. * Organise ourselves into small groups (3-4 people per group) * Have a look at the **thought experiments** (announced on the day of the event) * 7:15 - First rotation begins - Talk about the first thought experiment, but feel free to veer off topic. * 7:35 - Optional reshuffle: swap groups, move on to the second thought experiment. * 8:00 - Optional reshuffle: swap groups, move on to the third thought experiment. * 8:25pm - Wrap up - hear about upcoming events, feedback/requests for future meetups. * 8:30 Meetup ‘ends’. But feel free to carry on conversations. We have the room until 10pm and usually a lot of us stay until then :-) **Notes on the general atmosphere**: * The vibe is to let conversation flow rather than stick strictly to one topic. * While we'd like to talk about 'meaningful things', we also see the value in lighter topics, so don't worry about not being 'deep' enough! * Feel free to suggest ideas for future Thought Experiments in Pubs meetup groups, both in terms of structure and topics to discuss. **Where we'll meet**: This group will be at The Betjeman Arms. Walk length 5.5miles/9km approx. Linear. A short evening stroll along the Southbank towards Putney. There are a large number of features but some highlights to see along this short stretch of the Thames is the old Battersea Power Station, Battersea Park and Wandsworth Park. We can go for drinks at the end at a very classy pub. The Rocket, Putney Wharf, Brewhouse Ln, London SW15 2JQ FREE WALK TONIGHT.. Meeting and Transport Meet outside Battersea Power Station Tube on the South side of the river (see picture above) from 6.15pm to start at 6.30pm. Walking Safety: Walking is a great way to keep fit and generally very safe; however it does contain an element of risk. **SUMMER NIGHTS ARE HERE AND THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE TO BE THAN ON THE TATTERSHALL CASTLE** YES , OUR FAMOUS SUMMER BOAT PARTIES ARE BACK ! WE'LL BE ROCKING THE BOAT ON SATURDAY 23RD MAY and continuing every 2 weeks on a Saturday night throughout the summer . **No age restrictions : everyone is welcome . Come and meet other singles , mingle , make new friends and enjoy the buzz !** The Tattershall Castle is a permanently moored boat on the Thames at Embankment . It is also a floating nightclub and one of our favourite Saturday night venues . The event takes the form of a social gathering/mixer with introductions in the earlier part of the evening , followed by dancing to the DJ's fabulous mix of music on deck and then later after 11 pm , more dancing in the clubroom downstairs til 2 am . The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each.
