Queens represents an early history of filmmaking as evidenced by the century old Kaufman Astoria Studios and new Silvercup Studios based here. Filmmakers are documenting and creating shorts and features highlighting the borough, as well as supporting local film festivals and art venues. Time to unite, to share ideas, successes, failures and ways to help promote and build on the talent and perspective that is unique to Queens, NY.
