Memories were like a line drawn in the dirt. The further back you went the scruffier and harder to see that line got. Until finally there was nothing but smooth sand and the black hole of nothingness that you came out of.

What’s going on guys 👋 As citizens that live in cacotopia let’s just jump straight into this very interesting film. It’s a dystopian thriller directed by Francis Lawrence based on Stephen King’s 1979 novel and this is probably the right time to release such a film as we are heading towards serious questionable times. Anyway, this movie is set in a near-future totalitarian America where the government forces teenage boys to participate in a brutal annual walking contest, where they must maintain a steady walking pace or face execution. The last one standing wins whatever they desire for the rest of their life. I can see this propaganda already happening in many fazes of our lives.

Suffice to say let’s wake up guys and take the red pill, then the white and stay clear of those lines. Just get in line for the schedule below 😉👉

4:00 PM: We meet for drinks at Victory House French Bistrot & Wine Bar next to the Cinema. You will find me with a meetup sign.
5:15 PM: We move to Screen 4 in the Basement of VUE Cinema. I have chosen seat A6. But feel free to choose what you like better.
7:30 PM We briefly reconvene to to score the film and to discuss. The results will be posted on Letterboxd.
