Jakarta Friends is the community to meet new people while doing unique activities in Jakarta. We play board games, talk business, socialize, eat and drink together, do language exchanges, explore the city by walking and culinary tours, and much more! It's all about authentic connections in an uncomplicated and informal setting.

Together, we are creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome. This group is a convergence of people and cultures.
Over the past 1,5 year, we have had more than 150 events with over 1,500 attendees. Everyone should always feel welcome to join disregarding from their ethnicity, nationality, religion, creed, age, language skills, gender identification, sexual orientation, background, ability, income, social status, or any other arbitrary trait.
From September 2024, we have a yearly membership fee to join our events. The membership fee is not expensive and gives access to all events + exclusive perks! There's so much more value to members than having an event fee. We guarantee keep organising plenty of events and the fee is refundable if the group closes down or if there are no events for more than three months. You can attend the first event for free and take a look!

It's Firday night! Let's have the most delicious Neapoletan pizza in Jakarta at Pizzeria Zapoli in MENTENG. This is a new outlet from Zapoli and around the corner of MRT Bundaran HI.Neapoletan pizza means soft dough and simple ingredients. The pizza is cooked in a typical wood-fire oven for just a few minutes, and the ingredients remain very fresh.

Here's their IG: https://instagram.com/zapoliThe menu isn't big; the quality is. Pizza starts at around 60k up to around 150k. Pizzeria Zapoli have artisanal soda which is refreshing with the salty, spicy pizza.
The place is 100% Halal. On their Instagram I read "no reservation" and "BYOB" (and your own glass with it). We might need to wait a bit to get a seat.
The restaurant closes at 10 PM and after dinner we can go together to have a drink in a place nearby (location to be decided together).
The place is small, and attendance to this event is limited to 6 persons. If you cannot join, please update your RSVP at least 24h before the event as respect to the organiser and people in the waitlist. No-shows will be kicked out of the group.
Be on time as we want to eat together. Do not be early as we want to eat together. Just come and enjoy the company of new and old Jakarta Friends. Everyone is welcome to join.
As no reservation is possible, we might need to wait a bit until a table big enough for us will be free. From experience, this should not take long.
HOW TO REGISTER TO THE EVENT?
To register, just click āAttendā! There are a few simple rules- We kindly ask attendees who cannot manage to join to update RSVP at least 24 h before the event as a courtesy to other attendees and event organisers.
- Don't be late! We want to eat together. Don't be early! We want to eat together.
- People in the waitlist cannot attend, and are encouraged to check a few hours before the event to see if they got a spot
- No show at this event without updating RSVP = removal from the group.

WE HAVE A MEMBERSHIP FEE. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our community has a membership fee of 300k IDR valid for 365 days after payment. Membership fee is offered with a promo discount to new members and first-timers, who can become members for 220k IDR/year. First-timers can decide to attend one event for free and see if they like becoming part of this community.Membership to both Jakarta Friends and Jakarta Creatives is offered for only 390k IDR/year. Membership gives access to all events plus exclusive perks available only to paying members, like for example our Give Away Birthday Celebrations with lucky draw (Sept 2024) or FREE pasta cooking (and eating š) workshop (Nov 2024) or Museum visits with FREE GUIDED TOURS (Sept 2024). To many events, attendees can bring a +1 for free.

Calling out for all board gamers to play together!The idea is very simple: We meet and we play board games! All levels of experience playing board games are welcome. Feel free to bring your own games, if you want to. Newcomers are very welcome.
This event will be at Muyen Coffee and Roastery Tebet. Just pay for your own food and drink. (We will ask for a split bill)
The host is an experienced board gamer and has many options ready for you to play with!
1. Modern Art
5-player game where players take on the roles of art gallery managers, competing to buy and sell paintings by five different artists to maximize their profits.2. Dixit
6-player game where players take turns to be the storyteller. The best storyteller gets the points.3. King of Tokyo
