Gallery Hop / Short North Photo walk and street shooting. OSU is playing Ball State at home at 12:30 pm so many fans may come to the Short North to celebrate. We typically walk North on one side of the street under we reach Standard Hall where we stop for a break...can you say food and drink?....and then make our way back south on the other side of the street. These events on the schedule are to serve three purposes: 1. These will serve as field shoots targeted at The Completely 2. Series homework. Generally, each of these shoots will focus on the homework assigned in the two prior weeks. So locations and topics will be picked to match those expectations. 3. Additionally, these events are to serve as placeholders for TIME OF DAY. They are intended to be modified as needed to capture SUNSET and/or EVENING light. They will likely be modified to time out for the IDEAL light on that day, at that location. EXPECT THEM TO BE MODIFIED as the time of year changes and/or schedule conflicts occur. But THERE WILL BE at least one evening shoot per month. 4. Lastly, they are also to serve as semi-monthly evening shoots for the group as a whole. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE IN THE COMPLETELY SERIES to attend any of these morning field shoots. Locations and specifics will be updated as the event date approaches.

Join us for a **Martial Arts & Self Defense** workshop hosted by **Darin Waugh**, an original member of the school and author of multiple martial arts books including one of our history: [The History & Practice of Do–Jung–Ishu: "The Art of Fighting"](https://www.lulu.com/shop/darin-waugh/the-history-practice-of-do-jung-ishu-the-art-of-fighting/ebook/product-1epnn759.html?page=1&pageSize=4). It will be held at **Tuttle Park (240 W Oakland Ave., Columbus, OH 43201)** on **September 20th @1pm.** Ages 18+. At Darin's workshop, you can expect a casual vibe and **hands-on & full-contact education** of **efficient** and **effective** concepts and techniques from Do–Jung–Ishu's take on **Jeet Kune Do**, Bruce Lee's legacy. **Sticky Hands** **(Chi Sao)**, a method of controlling your opponent while still maintaining offensive pressure in the clench, is one such concept and Darin Waugh is one of the best in the world to do it. What you are introduced to in this workshop can be taken with you and grown in future classes with us or wherever you prefer to train. The workshop will last as long as Darin stays to teach, and however long attendees decide to stick around and practice. The fee is **$10/attendee** and **all proceeds go towards maintaining the club and for Darin's time.** Our shirts may be purchased at the event for $25 and they function as a **%50 discount** when worn to classes. Payments may be made by the following: * Cashapp: $uperman90 * Venmo: @james-cole-213 * In-person Cash Directions to the event spot: From High street, turn west onto Oakland Ave. and go straight until you reach the Tuttle Park parking lot. Once parked, continue west down the sidewalk. We will be at the shaded area by the bench, trashcan, and field hockey arena. Look for the **Black and Red Yin-Yang shirts!**
