From Creative Block Lab

Creative Block Lab . Small artist cohort in Berlin (limited spots) Hi everyone, I’m a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist currently based in Berlin, and I’m starting a small in-person cohort for artists who feel stuck, blocked, or disconnected from their work. Over the past years, while making my last film, I went through a long and difficult creative block. In that process, I began researching the emotional and psychological patterns that stop artists from creating. I call them creative monsters, forces like perfectionism, comparison, fear, shame, or paralysis. Creative Block Lab is a small, intimate space where we explore those patterns together and slowly reconnect with the impulse to make honest, authentic art. This is not a technical workshop and not a productivity bootcamp. It’s a reflective, human-centered space for artists of any medium. Format This is a 3-session cohort (same group each time), designed to build trust and continuity. Each session (1.5–2 hours) includes: • Short introductions and check-in • A guided reflection on one or two creative “monsters” • Practical tools or small mindset shifts • A 30-minute creation exercise (you can bring something you’re already working on, or just experiment with simple materials provided) • Group sharing and integration The intention is to: • reconnect with your artistic voice • reduce the pressure to be perfect • create in a supportive, non-judgmental space • leave with practical tools you can use in your daily practice Who it’s for Artists of any discipline: • visual arts • writing • music • performance • film • or any experimental/undefined practice No experience level required. What matters most is honesty and willingness to explore. Important note Because the group is intentionally small (around 10 people), there’s a short application form. This isn’t about selection based on skill or prestige, it’s just to keep the group size intimate and make sure the space feels right for everyone. There are only a few spots left for this first cohort. If it resonates with you, you can apply here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdsjkrPF4BFogvBE_DqgghsoFi2Qh1jZuHm1wCeaHqaXjq36A/viewform?usp=header

Online Networking for Creative Professionals

Online Networking for Creative Professionals

Wed, Feb 25, 6:00 PM
From Makers Klub: The Creatives Community

**An Online Networking Experience for Creative Professionals** Step away from deadlines, client emails, and endless edits — and step into a fast-paced, high-energy evening of connection. This is creative industry networking, reimagined. Designed for professionals across creative fields, this 120-minute online speed networking event helps you meet like-minded creatives, exchange ideas, and spark collaborations — without the awkward small talk or stiff formalities. Whether you’re a designer, photographer, filmmaker, marketer, content creator, strategist, or creative founder — this is your space to expand your circle and build genuine professional relationships. No panels. No long presentations. No pitching from a stage. Just real conversations, shared experiences, and intentional networking. ## Schedule **0:00 – 0:15 \| Welcome & Intros** We kick off with a warm welcome and a lively introduction round. You’ll share who you are, what you do, and what you’re currently focused on — giving everyone a snapshot of the creative talent in the room. **0:15 – 0:25 \| About Makers Klub** A short overview of Makers Klub — what we’re building, the vision behind the community, and how you can stay connected beyond this event. **0:25 – 1:45 \| Speed Networking Rounds \(Breakout Rooms\)** This is where momentum builds. You’ll rotate through multiple small breakout rooms (3–4 professionals per room), with each round lasting approximately 15–20 minutes. Structured prompts keep conversations dynamic and purposeful: * What are you currently creating or building? * Who would be your ideal collaborator? * What challenge are you navigating right now? * What kind of opportunities are you open to? Multiple rotations mean you’ll connect with a wide range of creatives — from adjacent industries to potential future partners. **1:45 – 2:00 \| Open Networking & Wrap\-Up** We regroup for final reflections and open networking. This is your time to: * Reconnect with someone you clicked with * Drop links and contact details * Continue promising conversations ## What Makes This Different * Designed specifically for creative professionals * Structured rotations so you meet more people * Focused, energising, and interactive * Built for genuine collaborations — not transactional exchanges Think of it as creative speed networking — but intentional, welcoming, and actually productive. Come prepared with a clear introduction, an open mindset, and curiosity about others’ work. Leave with fresh ideas, new contacts, and connections that extend beyond the screen. We can’t wait to see you there. ✨ \*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\* About **Makers Klub**: **Makers Klub is a Berlin-based exclusive community for creatives**.
