VIVID is back, and the drone show should be cool! Let's do it on a Monday - one of the least crowded days of the week... and we'll finish at my local pub as Monday's offer half-priced wings, ribs, and drinks (optional, as you may want to get home). **THE HIKE.** Let's meet on the grass at **Barangaroo House**. I'll post a pin in Google Maps on the day so you can find me... **545pm**. The ferry from Barangaroo to Circular Quay runs at 554pm, and it will be a perfect shot on the water for Sydney Opera House pics when it lights up at 6pm on the dot. If you're late, meet us at Circular Quay at 615pm as we jump off. *We'll get dropped at CQuay, and see Customs House, the MCA, Syd Opera House, etc... all the way to Barangaroo, King St Wharf, and the drone show starts at 730pm finishing at 740pm. It will be crowded and hard to keep the group together, so make your own way to Sporting Globe by 4Pines. The walk is immaculate and nature inspiring, come see with me! love it! **We start from Circular Quay**, up 52 stairs to **Government House**, past the **Garden Amphitheatre** behind Sydney's Conservatorium of Music to the **Calyx**, exhibiting floral displays. From here we zig zag through hidden gardens, past the Sydney Fernery to **Palm House**! We then leave **The Botanical Gardens. (Park No.1)** Cutting through the **Art Gallery of NSW** to **(Park No.2)** Who would have ever thought of this? Amazing! "Sydney" Parks. fantastic! Enjoy today! Let’s do it! (**Domain Section**) **Secret Pathways** to "The Big Matchsticks" sculpture in Woolloomooloo. 'Yes" we can touch them! Not far away is the **New South Wales Police Force Wall of Remembrance.** The names on the wall represent 350 policemen and policewomen in NSW who died on duty since 1850's. Quick 3 minute visit and rehydrate. Suddenly ahead is the bronze statue of **Robert Burn**, regarded as the national poet of Scotland. From here we sneak through the back of **Saint Mary's Cathedral** heading to **Hyde Park (No.3)** I take you through an area (not the usual path). As we walk past the **"Pool of Reflection"** we get to the **Anzac Memorial**. Next we hit the "GoGet CarShare pod" reserve. just a little variety treat. Onward to **Belmore Park (No.4)**, just in site of Central Station. Half Way 15 min stop at the perfect pub. **"Prince Alfred Park" (No.5)** is home to a 50m heated, outdoor pool. Walking through the park until we get to **Reconciliation Park** (small), then hidden lanes around Australia Post Strawberry Hills. **Redfern Park** **(No.6)** is next, entry at the World War 1 Memorial. **T.J. Hickey Park** is small, more like a reserve, **Waterloo Garden** then **Captain Cook Sundial & Plaque** plus **James Cook Garden.** Last big **Alexandria Park (No.7)** coming up so tour nearly over. Vivid - Tuesday evening walk

Vivid is back again for the next three weeks! Tonight we will walk to the Barangaroo Reserve and then return south beside Darling Harbour to view the multiple Vivid artworks. Out aim will be to be somewhere near the Pyrmont Bridge between 7:30 - 7:40 to view the drone show. Let us keep our fingers crossed that the weather is suitable for the drones to fly. Join us for **our annual Vivid walk**—a captivating evening exploring the awe-inspiring Vivid Sydney light and sound installations! This walk covers nearly 7 kilometres and follows over half of the official Vivid Light Walk route at a leisurely pace, with short breaks at the most popular installations. 🚨 **Critical Vivid Info:** While I will share our live location in the group chat, please make a strong effort to stay with the group. Vivid gets incredibly crowded and it is very easy to get separated! Our first glimpse of the white sand, and a few aircraft taking off. The coastal walk from there to Dolls Point is easy, flat and paved. This walk has the added bonus of the St George Sailing Club if you’re thirsty and want to take in more of the view at the finish. How's this for a top event!!! ***\- A delightful Sunday hike / walk that includes Wendy's Secret Garden;*** ***\- A spectacular Sydney Ferry ride with views;*** ***\- A charming Pyrmont Food & Wine Festival for a sip\, perve\, and a pat; and*** ***\- "Cheers" at one of the best \(and secretive\) wine gardens in Sydneytown\.*** Do we do some fun shit in this group or what? **THE HIKE.** We meet at **Wollstonecraft Station** on the western side (you can't miss us) and after a quick chat, off we go. You won't believe that you're in the Aussie bush hiking just 5minutes after we've departed. Be chatty, share some laughs, but please be ready to move with passion. We'll finish at **Milson's Point Ferry Stop**, and it's a quick two stops to The Pyrmont Food & Wine Festival. **THE PYRMONT FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL.** This is a cracker of an event - right on the water, and it features: *"Free entry - everyone in the community is welcome, 30+ wineries, breweries and distilleries from NSW regions, and local food trucks.* I think 45minutes here is good. Please stay longer, or please leave when you fancy. Or? Please grab my arm and carry on... **THE SECRETIVE WINE GARDEN.** The wine festival will be crowded... so let's finish off properly at **Gallon Wine Bar** \- it's just up the road in Pyrmont\. If you've never been\, you'll grab your drink up front\, and when you get to the rear garden\.\.\. the eyes / mouth will open with that **"Wow. What a place"** look on your face.
