Snorkeling at Freshwater Beach

Freshwater is a beautiful beach just North of Manly. As it is an open beach, it will be subject to surf conditions, and would not be suitable for absolute beginners even in very calm conditions. That being said, we can have Fairlight Beach as a back up plan if it is too rough. We can meet in the car park above the ocean pool at 11am and make a decision once we see what it is like. Oak Park to Salmon Haul Bay Snorkel.

**Snorkelling from Oak Park to Salmon Haul Bay, Cronulla.** We can meet at the end of Jibbon Street at 11.00am. [https://goo.gl/maps/cpP8w1NDVv52](https://goo.gl/maps/cpP8w1NDVv52) This time is close to the peak of the high tide where the visibility should be at its best and the current at its lowest. Feel free to stay around Oak Park if you don't feel confident with the snorkel to Salman Haul Bay. Or if it is rough there, feel free to walk round to Salmon Haul Bay where it is much more protected and meet us there. Last year was indeed too rough. but we still enjoyed a snorkel at both locations, however we walked between the two. It's an easy entry point to the right of the rock pool. We can explore here for awhile before we head off on our journey. Once we reach our destination we can again explore for awhile then head back to Oak Park via the costal walking track. We can grab a coffee and something to eat after at a nearby cafe. Or follow the path to Cronulla. Looking forward to seeing you there. Relaxed Surf & Beer at Manly

Hello everyone! Come along for a relaxed surf session at Manly Beach! Enjoy some waves at your own pace, then grab a beer and a bite to eat afterwards if you feel like sticking around. Whether you're new to the group or have joined us before, you're welcome! **How it works** * Meet at Manly Beach (see meeting point below). * Have a quick chat and check the surf conditions before heading in. * Surf together at your own pace, and leave whenever you like. * Optional beer, food or a casual hangout afterwards. All levels are welcome, so don't worry if you're fairly new to surfing. Just choose waves that suit your ability and enjoy the session at your own pace. After the surf, we'll head somewhere nearby for a beer or some food. You're also welcome to stay at the beach, relax or keep surfing if you prefer. **When/Where** We'll meet by the pipes closest to the Corso (South Pipe) at **10:00am** If you need to hire a board, please get to the rental shop around **9:30am** so you can grab a board, change your wetsuit, and head over to meet us on time. **Who can join?** All levels are welcome, including beginners. Just be comfortable in the ocean and choose waves that suit your ability. **What to bring** You'll need a surfboard, leash, wetsuit, towel, sunscreen and water. The Rocks Night Walk

**Let's do an after dark walk through The Rocks** We meet in front of Customs House in Circular Quay at 7pm and make our way into the back alleys and hidden lane ways of The Rocks. The walk will take approx 2-3 hours and will cover all the areas around Barangaroo Park, Observatory Hill and Bridge St and will have lots of historic architecture, off the beaten track areas, parks and of course nice harbour views. The walk will start and end in Circular Quay. GRATUITY: There will be a $2 gratuity for this walk in cash. Your health and safety is priority as is minimizing risks to avoid accidents and injuries during this walk. However event hosts assume no responsibility for anyone attending any group event and will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss occurring as a result of any group event or in connection with travel to such event, however caused.

⚠️ FOR YOUR SAFETY & ENJOYMENT, PLEASE READ BELOW DESCRIPTION FULLY BEFORE YOU CLICK ‘Attend’! ******************************************** 🗓 DATE: Sunday, 25 October 2026. ⏰ MEETING TIME: 10.10am. ⛴️ START POINT: Watsons Bay Wharf - at the entry/exit after tap on/off. 🚌 END POINT: Bondi Beach bus stop, Campbell Parade. ******************************************** 🥾 DISTANCE: 12km - point to point. 🥾 GRADE: Easy/Moderate on a relaxing pace, not snail pace! 📸 WHAT TO EXPECT: 🚶‍♂️This beautiful coastal walk meanders through beautiful parklands and open spaces and includes an exciting timber walkway with viewing platforms that brings you on top of the cliffs. 🚶The Bondi to Watsons Bay walk (or Watsons Bay to Bondi walk) is essentially the same as the Federation Cliff Walk, but it goes a little further, to Bondi Beach. 🚶‍♂️We will start the exciting adventure from Watsons Bay Wharf to Hornby Lighthouse via Camp Cove Beach for our first photo stop and selfies. 🚶‍♂️We will continue the walk to The Gap, located on the eastern side of Watsons Bay and is one of Sydney’s most famous ocean cliff lookouts with views that are absolutely breathtaking. 👀 From The Gap, we follow the cliff-side path towards the south through Gap Park, leading up to Old South Head Road. The track stays on the road’s footpath for a short while until turning into the Coastal Cliff Walk. 🥪 We will have BYO lunch break at Macquarie Lighthouse overlooking the ocean. 🏙️ We will continue to Diamond Bay Reserve through Dover Heights Reserve. Social Beach Volleyball, then Dinner at the Restaurant or Takeaways. **🏐Who is it for?** All Level Players - Beginners, Intermediates to Advanced. For all ages - most of the people that came to our events are in their 20s & 30s. If you are beginner, please don't hesitate to ask our organisers for quick run down of passing and serving. If you are not a beginner, help or encourage beginners how to play better. Have fun and enjoy the game. 📍**Where** **Coogee Beach** North Side of the Beach, near the small boats, near Coogee Pavillion Look for Blue Copaya Net or yellow net, Boombox speaker or blue IKEA bag. "Seaforth Safari" Manly-Fairlight-Manly-Vale-Seaforth-North-Balgowlah-Best-13k!

**WHY WALK?** 1\. Why this walk? Surrounding Seaforth are wilderness areas\, amazing and beautiful\. 2\. "Spring" into action\! Live the walking dream\. After our lunch break\, extremely exciting\! 3\. Healthy\, makes you happy\, feel good feeling\, boost your life\, live longer guaranteed\. **Walking New Sections:** Tracks-Rapids-Pathways-Bush-Walkways. Bush Hiking Trails, yes, solid part of walk, 13km Come live it up, let's go! Manly-Seaforth. Different way back to Manly Vale. **Manly Wharf** start at "Nautilus Shell Sculpture" sneaking past **Gilbert Park**, traversing around Manly Oval at **Ivanhoe Park** then zig-zagging deep into the back streets near Andrew "Boy" Charlton Aquatic Centre. **Hey!** Let's enjoy the wide path alongside Manly Golf Club heading towards Balgowlah reaching **Roseberry Street Cafe.** 3 minute quick break, rehydrate, munch an apple, grab a snack from your backpack. Keep socialising, enjoy chatting! **Next:** Up the path to **Seaforth,** then an eye-opening walk past a colony of bats "worth a pic" amazing. Then through a tunnel to the **Seaforth Trail**. The next easy 1.5km bushland section we observe mini rapids, mini waterfalls, like walking through a forest. **After Walking** beside **Burnt Bridge Creek** we hit a narrow section but "not a problem" I promise! **Wakehurst Golf Club**. 25 minutes lunch break (coffee food available or your own stuff) As we relax on the balcony, the view, amazing! **After Half Way Lunch** we hike a solid 1 hour section but needing some stamina but very rewarding and enjoyable, The bush track section meanders up and down next to the **Manly Dam.** **End of the walk:** Manly Vale B1 Bus Stop, only 15 minutes back to Wynyard Station. **Distance:** 13km. **WHY WALK?** 1\. Would you like to live longer? Well guess what\, get out and keep on walking\. Yes\! Yes\! 2\. Walking increases blood flow to the brain\, improving memory almost instantly\! 3\. Healthy\, you bet yu\! and yes it makes you happy\, feeling good inside guaranteed\. **THE WALK!** 1\. Wolli Creek Station start\, let's hit the road\, "easy\-peasy" pretty flat walk all the way\. 2\. Waterfront Park for first view of Cooks River\, move forward to Discovery Park\. 3\. Quick bathroom stop at "Cahill Park"\, last chance for a while\. 4\. Fascinating section from Marsh St\. Reserve to Eve St\. Wetlands\. 5\. Moving along to Banksia Field to Riverine Park to Barton Park past Muddy Creek\. 6\. Loop around Muddy Creek to Lance Studdert Reserve and Kyeemagh Market Gardens\. 7\. Slide under Endeavour Bridge to Cook Park for bathroom break\. 8\. Half way Lunch stop with many cafes at *Brighton Le Sands Beach.* 9\. Botany Bay Walk so relaxing by the water all the way to Rockdale\. 10 One of my favourite bush, grass, pathway sections across to Kogarah. 11\. Ending at Kogarah Station for quick train to CBD or for drinks nearby\. **Start Time:** 10am **Meeting Point:** Wolli Creek Station, top of stairs, cafe opposite. **Distance:** 13km **Difficulty:** Easy/Moderate due to distance, plenty of get out points. **Walking Pace:** An easy steady pace at 4.25km-4.50km per hour. **What to Bring:** Comfortable outfit, a litre of water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, a raincoat just in case of wet weather.
