Men over 40 - Try Dragon Boating on Iron Cove

Fri, May 15, 10:45 PM
From Dragon Boating for Adults

If you've ever thought about trying Dragon boating, this is your moment. Grab a paddle, jump in our 12m long boat and use it to propel the boat across Iron Cove with up to 20 other paddlers. This free session will focus on technique, rhythm, and having fun. It’s a low-impact way to build core strength and cardiovascular health without the solo grind of a gym. Many of our members started with the same question: are they "fit enough for dragon boating?" No matter what your level of fitness, our expert coaches will help you with a fun and supportive session! If you're looking to get fit, or stay fit, with a friendly bunch of people your age, get out on the water, and have fun - then this **free** try-out session is for you! Come for the fitness, stay for the social post-paddle coffee. Check the [link](https://ffbdbc.com.au/men-over-40-try-dragon-boating) for more details including FAQ's and how to reserve your seat on the boat.

🌲 Penrose and Belanglo State Forests are one of the most well-known forests in NSW, given its location on either side of the Hume Highway just over an hour from Sydney. A pine forest, Penrose and Belanglo also features a flora reserve.
🌲 Forests in this area are a mixture of pine plantations and native forests. The first radiata pines were planted in this area in Belanglo State Forest in 1919. Today, there are around 3,500 hectares of commercial pine plantations in the southern highlands with timber being processed at a local mill.
