Casual Sunday Futsal in Eveleigh ⚽️
Sun, Sep 20, 12:00 AM⚽ **Want to kick off your Sunday the right way?** Looking to play futsal in Sydney? Say no more — we’ve got you covered! Join us **every Sunday at 10 AM** at South Eveleigh Sports Courts for fast-paced, good-vibes futsal. Whether you’re a seasoned baller or you’ve never touched a futsal ball before — if you love football, you’re one of us. We play on hard ground, so leave the spike boots at home (unless you enjoy sliding around like Bambi on ice ). *** **One golden rule:** Cancelling after **12 PM on Saturday** means you’re out for future games. If you say you’re coming, you’re coming. Why? Because commitment is the only “fee” we charge. No drama, no flakes — just good people and good football. If you’re cool with that, we’ll welcome you with open arms. Fair warning, though… Once you join, you’ll probably want to play every week. See you on Sunday! ⚽

Floriade stroll followed by lunch
Sat, Sep 19, 1:00 AMHi all, I am organizing a Floriade event, so I hope you can make it. We will meet at the entrance near the Ferris wheel. If the weather prediction says it is going to rain I will change the event perhaps to a nearby cafe.

SUNDAY/SAILING/TEACH YOU TO SAIL BECOME PART OF MY CREW MAKE FRIENDS FOR LIFE
Sun, Sep 20, 2:00 AMBECAUSE I TEACH TO FIND ONGOING CREW MY REQUIREMENTS ARE MAX WEIGHT 70kg up to 40yrs of age On any sailing day, there may also be my regular crew or people I have introduced through the Facebook Crew Finder and my self. However, my small yacht never carries more than 6 in total. If the event is full make sure you join the wait list I move people around to going if there really keen and learning well or if someone drops out 1. AS IM LOOKING FOR GENUINE PEOPLE WANTING TO LEARN HOW TO SAIL WHICH WILL TAKE SOME MONTHS PREFER PEOPLE STAYING IN SYDNEY AT LEAST 12 MONTHS EVEN BETTER IF YOU LIVE HERE 2. IF YOUR NOT COMING TO LEARN GO ON A FERRYTHIS ISNT A ONE DAY SIGHT SEEING TRIP 3. For safety reasons, you must be able to SWIM OR AT LEAST FLOAT and be comfortable on water. 4. ITS VERY SELDOM SOMEONE WOULD FALL IN ONE IN FORTY YEARS. 5. 5,Also for safety reasons, you must be able to understand and speak English to enable you to react quickly to a whole new vocabulary of words that you will need to learn Unfortunately I need to make decisions that are best for my boat as, when racing, I only carry a crew of 4, who MUST be fit and agile. This is vital to enable you to move quickly around a small yacht when it heels (leans over) as much as 30 degrees and be ready to sit with your legs over the rail after tacking (changing course). My yacht wins in most seasons and I'm extremely competitive. We DO NOT carry crew who just sit on the rail, and you must be willing to work as a team. **PLEASE REMEMBER YOU’RE COMING TO BE TAUGHT HOW TO SAIL SO I NEED TO POINT OUT A FEW THINGS FOR SAFETY REASONS** 1. Wear clothes suitable for sailing – MOST IMPORTANT – rubber, soft-soled shoes with good grip. NO THONGS OR BARE FEET! 2. If you have long hair, TIE IT UP 3. Glasses and hats need to be tied with cord or similar – I’ve seen so many disappear overboard. 4. If you have sailing or gym gloves, bring them to protect hands from rope burn. 5. Remove rings off fingers and long finger nails if bent back it really hurts
