We ride together in a group, waiting for the slowest at the crossroads and top of the hills. Please, remember, if you ride with me: you agree that this is not a sports club, no business is involved, and that each member is responsible for his/her safety at all times You have a proper **road** **bicycle** to ride with us and carry all the things you need to ride in safe conditions (helmet, tools, replacements, water, snacks, etc)? You will come if you can complete the route. My average speed is approximately 18km/h. Please, answer the questionnaire when you sign up for the event, including the details of the contact, preferably. Looking forward to riding with you!

Below I will throw off the map and program of activities. But first, we will go a small (14 kilometers), not very difficult but a very good hike, not far from Manresa, and then we will go to the festival. And there will be something to do! Shoot from the bow, fight with swords, see the real coronation of the king or drink medieval beer. In the hike, as usual, we will be of course all together, but when we arrive in the city, it's a free time. The midieval city will have a lot of locations and activities, so everyone can choose for themselves what to do. First Sunday of the month social ride for every level and all groups

First Sunday of the month social ride for every level and all groups

Sun, Mar 1, 9:00 AM
From Barcelona Road Cycling Group

**BCRG first Sunday of the month social ride** **What to Expect:** This is a monthly riding event that the organizers of BRCG created to socialize between the different groups and levels of the participants of this meetup. Every organizer shares the details of his ride below and you can attend signing up for the event and answering the name of the organizer you will go with. After the rides, around **1:30PM**, all groups will meet for drinks in Badalona near the beach at **[La Pecadora](https://maps.app.goo.gl/zP7GsQqzviEbYdQd8)**: they have a garden and a safe space for bikes if we want to go inside. **Is This Ride for Me?** Before to sign up for a ride check the details of the route, elevation, km and speed level expected. While this ride is open to everyone, we ask that you are comfortable riding in groups, have a **road bike**, and **have done rides of similar distance and elevation** before. We welcome all newcomers but everyone is expected to be **self-sufficient**, therefore please bring not only your helmet, a spare inner tube, at least 1lt of water and a energy snack if you wish but also sync the route, bring phone and some cash. **Safety:** Beside wearing an helmet, proper shoes (not open shoes) and a road bike in good conditions **every rider is responsible of his own safety** and must respect the [spanish cyclist regulations](https://www.dgt.es/comunicacion/noticias/20-normas-que-todo-ciclista-debe-conocer/), ultimate safety starts and ends with everyone riding responsibly. Ride leaders will do their best to keep the group together, moving smoothly and safely at all times. We'll stop at red lights and obey traffic rules. **There's no commercial interest behind this event;** it's just a bunch of people sharing a fun day out. Looking forward to riding with you! **Group A Beginners** Organizer: **Alicia** Route link: [https://www.strava.com/routes/3451309873499715228](https://www.strava.com/routes/3451309873499715228) Elevation: 263 m Distance in km: 55 km Average Speed: 19 km/h Ave Time expected: 2:56 Starting time: 10:00 AM Starting point: [Granier Café Port Badalona](https://maps.app.goo.gl/CpPZK2S6sZxpXM7b8) **Group B Slow Intermediate** Organizer: **Tiziana** Route link: https://www.komoot.es/tour/2744196187 [https://www.strava.com/routes/3451275837302813652](https://www.strava.com/routes/3451275837302813652) Elevation: 743 Distance in km: 55 Average Speed: 18km/hr Ave time expected: 3hr 30min Starting time: 10AM Starting point: [Churreria outside Montgat train station](https://maps.app.goo.gl/m1NVwFgES5d1c96r6) **Group C Intermediate** Organizer: **Ron** Route link: https://www.komoot.es/tour/2744196187 [https://www.strava.com/routes/3451284568033087444](https://www.strava.com/routes/3451284568033087444) Elevation: 765 Distance in km: 66 Average Speed: 21 km/h Ave time expected: 3hr Starting time: 10:00AM Starting point: [Hotel Arts](https://maps.app.goo.gl/gabuMSa4d5yQT1BG8) **Group D Intermediate +** Organizer: **Olaf** Route link: [https://www.strava.com/routes/3451473672405872368](https://www.strava.com/routes/3451473672405872368) Elevation: 1100 Distance in km: 80 Average Speed: 25 km/h Ave time expected: 3:30 Starting time: 10AM Starting point: [Hotel Arts](https://maps.app.goo.gl/LMYbxPasxSUAT2nV8)
