========== FACTS ========== ROUTE: Swimming > Viewing > swimming > Ice cream OR Cafe & Snacks LEVEL: Intermediate DISTANCE: 36 or 50ish km ========== FACTS ========== ========= DETAILS ========= **ROUTE:** Since the weather forecast for next weekend is still tbd but I need to work on my "New Years Eve resolution" (well, the one from 2025) I want to go on tour one way or the other. If the weather is swim-like we do the shorter one and if it's so lala we do the longer one. Decision is made on Thursday **SPEED:** Leisurely around 16 km/h, at least if the wind doesn't come from the front. This is like "Being able to see the details on the side of the road and enjoying the view in general… and have a chat." **DISTANCE AND TERRAIN:** These rides are either 36 or 50ish km and have mainly solid but also some forrest or soft ground. In general: Bikes with thin tyres (Race bikes, Road bikes, Fixies), rented bikes (Uber, Swapfiets) or any special bikes (Folding bikes, BMX etc.) are not suitable! You won't have fun, trust me! And if you want to bring Kids or Animals please get in touch before! **MEETING POINT:** TBD I have a blue Villiger Trekking bike. But you can hop in at any other station if you want (and dare). **TICKET:** Never forget your "[24-hour ticket bicycle VBB network](https://www.vbb.de/en/tickets/tickets-for-your-bicycle/24-hour-ticket-bicycle/)" ticket which is about 7,50 EUR. **WAY OUT:** TBD **WAY BACK:** TBD **RECOMMENDATIONS:** Check the train schedule in the morning! The DB loves to stir up the plans by changing trains or even platforms on short notice! If anything happens the Meeting point is the starting point of the cycling. While we'll stop somewhere for a lunch and/or coffee please always bring your snacks but especially some drinks along! PLEASE make sure your bike is in a proper state! Check your tyre pressure and oil the chain! Does your light work? Having a toolset is highly recommended and a spare inner tube to fix a flat tyre a big plus! While we might be able to help in some circumstances please think about what happens if we can't! Thank you! Bringing special equipment (Helmet, safety vest etc.) is NOT required but welcome if you feel more safe using it. ========= DETAILS =========

Ultimate Frisbee in the Park - summer edition

Ultimate Frisbee in the Park - summer edition

Wed, Aug 26, 4:30 PM
From Ultimate Frisbee in Wedding
4.9

Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates. Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty. Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome. After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun. Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so we've got a few methods to help out (don't trust the meetup map pin, it often shows some point in the park, not the exact spot where we are) 1. GPS: 52°32'54.9"N 13°19'51.0"E ; 52.548581, 13.330842 2. Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/xbZgaXzMSMt 3. the helpful picture here https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/2/8/8/f/highres_451930383.jpeg *This event may also be photographed and/or video-recorded, and published on social media channels such as meetup and eventbrite.* *By participating, you acknowledge and accept the risk of injury while playing Ultimate. Although adherence to the rules, proper equipment, and common sense reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and, you willingly and freely assume all such risks.*
