Dinner at Hi Hot Pot - $20 deposit Required
Thu, May 7, 9:00 AMFreshly opened in Northcote on the site of the old Bang Bang restaurant, right on High street. Come try one of their 12 delicious soup bases and have your pick of meat, seafood, vegetables and noodles. Pay by weight so take as little or take a lot. Only you know how much you will eat. Unfortunately there is no website for me to add a link so I will add a soup base image for you to check out. A $20 non refundable deposit is required for this event and will be refunded on the night. The deposit will be required 48 hours from RSVPing to the event or you will be moved removed from the event. Please make payment to the following account only if you are on the going list. Please note the new bank details. BSB 013125 Account 150808654 Please let me know once payment is made. PLEASE USE YOUR NAME AND VENUE AS YOUR REFERENCE. Please only RSVP to an event if you fully intend to show. Pulling out of a dinner or another booked event (with a venue) on the day is a kick in the teeth for both the venue and the organiser. I understand there are instances where this is unavoidable, but you are short changing the venue on the revenue they are reliant upon, especially when it comes to paying their staff. It may be too late to rebook those tables with other patrons. Not to mention the stress this puts the organisers under. Please be considerate.

‘Leave it to us’ menu at Etta
Fri, May 8, 8:45 AMThe team at Etta humbly describe it as ‘a little neighbourhood restaurant with a big heart’ but with various accolades, including previously winning Gourmet Traveller’s Restaurant of the Year (Vic) and a Chef’s Hat, Etta is more than just a quiet local spot in Brunswick East. The food is fresh and seasonal, and brings people together over shared plates. I booked the Chef’s High Table for 8 Fine Diners to enjoy the ‘leave it to us’ 4-course menu at $115 per person for dinner from 6.45pm on Friday 8 May. There is the option to add matching wines on the night for $85. Join the waitlist to express interest. Once I have names in the waitlist, I’ll send you a ‘Meetup Message’ to confirm you have a spot and how to pay. You’ll need to send me $50 to secure your place (equivalent to the cancellation fee - this will be deducted from your bill when we settle up). Once paid I’ll move you from the waitlist to going. Please check that you don’t have your settings blocking messages; if I can’t contact you I’ll have to move on to the next person. Also if you don’t respond to my message within 3 days, I’ll let you know that I’m offering the seat to the next person on the waitlist. Thanks and I’m looking forward to sharing some delicious food at Etta with you!
