**Welcome** *ALL* trans, non-binary, gnc (Gender non-conforming), intersex, people sincerely questioning a transgender path, other friendly queers, and allies! TGSF gets together in person, at least once a month, generally on the last Thursday of the month. This is our monthly **in person** event! **Our "NEW VENUE"!** We will meet at **Taqueria San Jose,** which is the name of our old venue, but they moved across the street! So, same time, same name, but now at 2839 Mission St, across Mission Street, from Taqueria Los Altos. - Sorry for any confusion. It's good to buy food here to support them, but **food is optional**. (Meat will undoubtedly be eaten by someone at the restaurant. If you'd like to help organize vegan, or non-food events, please contact TGSF via *info@TGSF.org* !) Tony’s was the first restaurant to bring several styles of pizza to California. Chef Tony Gemignani is a thirteen-time World Pizza Champion. A few years ago, a group from SF Foodies tried Tony’s famous tasting menu, which allows groups to enjoy seven different kinds of pizza, plus appetizers and dessert. The event was a hit! The dinner is a set price of $500 before tax and tip, so it is significantly more expensive than a typical meal at Tony’s. Please see details on splitting the check below. That said, we will be getting a lot of food. Parties enjoying the tasting menu are also guaranteed an indoor reserved table – no waiting in lines to sit outside and freeze! Although subject to change, the menu should include a variety like the following: * A bottle of Prosecco for the table * A spread of appetizers including Italian chop and caprese salads, string bean fritti, and fried squash blossoms * Seven (!) pizzas, including ◦ A Neopolitan-style Margherita pizza ◦ The Artichoke Joe, a canotto-style pizza ◦ A New Haven-style coal-fired clam and garlic pie ◦ A Grandma the Hippie pizza ◦ The Sicilian New York All-Star ◦ A Detroit Motörhead pie ◦ A “cracker-thin” St. Louis-style pizza Cannoli and tiramisu This is a unique opportunity to try a variety of what Tony’s can do with pizza. GADA - Inspired sandwiches for lunch

GADA is a new and popular sandwich spot in the Castro. Per the San Francisco Standard, the signature offering is the raclette malawi sandwich. The crepe-like creations combine European cheeses — particularly gooey, pungent Swiss raclette, but also fontina — with the Tunisian olive-oil-soaked flat bread called malawi. Chef Mohammed “Moe” Adibi makes the malawi bread using a dough spread thinly, sprinkled with olive oil, and then transferred to a griddle to cook, where it puffs up. Torpedo rolls are also an option. Sandwich filling options include cheese, prosciutto, salami, sausage & onion, bacon, chicken, ham, and mortadella. Per Chef Adibi, “My sandwiches are fat. My sandwiches take time.” We’ll meet for fat sandwiches in the shop. Depending on group size and weather, we’ll either eat in the shop or walk to a nearby park.
