LessWrong Community Weekend 2026
Fri, Sep 11, 10:00 AMJoin one large rationalist social gathering, which brings together 250+ aspiring rationalists from across Europe and beyond for 4 days of socializing, fun, and intellectual exploration. **Full Info & Applications:** [https://www.lesswrong.com/events/iqkaNDmhqpoZWNpXs/lesswrong-community-weekend-2026](https://www.lesswrong.com/events/iqkaNDmhqpoZWNpXs/lesswrong-community-weekend-2026) The whole event **will be participant-driven** in an unconference style: shortly before, and any time during, the weekend, a digital event schedule is filled with 100+ workshops, talks and activities by the attendees. The community weekend is family & LGBTQIA+-friendly, and after last year's amazing experience, we are increasing our effort into creating a diverse event where people of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and experiences feel like they are at home. We invite everyone who shares a **curiosity** for new perspectives to gain a truthful understanding of the world and its inhabitants, a **passion** for developing practices and systems that achieve our personal goals and, consequently, those of humanity at large, as well as a desire to nurture **empathetic relationships** that support and inspire us on our journey. **Price:** Regular ticket: €225\-275 \| Supporter ticket: €300/400/500\+ (The ticket includes accommodation from Friday to Monday, meals, and snacks.) Nobody makes any money from this event, and the organizer team is unpaid. This event has a special place in our heart, and we truly think there’s nothing else quite like it. It’s where so many of us made friends with whom we have more in common than each of us would’ve thought to be possible. It’s where new ideas have altered our opinions or even changed the course of life - in the best possible way. **Note:** You need to apply and be accepted via the application form. RSVPs are appreciated but don't count towards your participation.

PBerg engineers - monthly meetup
Wed, Sep 2, 5:00 PM**This is 100% non-profit. The 15€ sign up fee for everyone is only to minimize last-minute cancellations. The total sum goes to a bar-tap that everyone can use to order drinks until the amount is used up. ‼️NO REFUNDS‼️** **‼️Please don't just show up without RSVPing here and paying the 15€. We have a separate room that has limited capacity and a specific drinks agreement with the bar - so splitting up the bill won't become a mess.‼️** **Small update on how your money get's used from May 2024 onwards:** As of this month, meetup.com has started charging me 34€ instead of 16€ per month. I've decided to distribute this fee evenly among all us participants every month. Example: In the last 12 meetups, the average number of attendees was 17. With 17 attendees I would effectively collect 230€ (after fees). I would now substract 34€ leaving us with 196€ that go to the bar. 15% get's tipped to the wait staff, in this case 30€, leaving us with 166€ effectively to order drinks. Hope everyone is cool with this system. :) Website: https://www.pberg-engineers.me WhatsApp groups: Please come and join us on WhatsApp! \- "PBerg Engineers \- NEWS" \- Only organizers can post announcements or polls \-\> https://chat\.whatsapp\.com/EqMJMmlCZO6LOOfAoG4yTj \- "PBerg Engineers \- DISCUSS" \- Everyone can post \-\> https://chat\.whatsapp\.com/LPuo76J83gF6IZMLUcM4u2 Please join those groups now if you're interested. :) All skill/education-levels welcome! :) Lightning Talks: \- TBD We'll also have a brief "Jobs: Lost & Found section". **Location:** From the street you will have to enter the right hand Cafe Chagall (yes, there are 2). We are a relaxed, non-formal meetup of like-minded software engineers who want to always keep learning and want to meet in physical reality over a drink or two. Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin is home to some of the most talented software engineers in the world, and every month, they come together for an exciting knowledge sharing meetup. Silent Reading Club
Sun, Sep 6, 9:00 AMDitch the old book club, where everyone has to read the same book...this is better! It works like this: Bring your own book. Come chat, have some tea or coffee, get to know your neighbors. Then we quietly read together, side by side, for about one hour, each one reading their own book, and afterwards we talk with each other about what we are reading. The usual agenda: - Arrival and introduction (~20 minutes) - Silent reading (~1 hour) - Discussion (~30-40 minutes) - Join us for a bite at a local restaurant afterwards, if you like! You may read in any language, you may read any book. We are a group of international residents of Berlin from many different countries, of all ages, and we converse in English. We welcome you! No registration needed – the event is donation based. All funds support the Offenes Wohnzimmer.

0.1% Accurate- English Comedy Night
Sun, Sep 6, 5:00 PM**Step right up for a fortune-telling experience that's barely accurate, but definitely unforgettable.** Magdalena, the "fortune teller", combines a crystal ball, questionable predictions and a healthy dose of dark humour in a show that's as absurd as it is entertaining. Described by the 'Scotsman' (top newspaper in the UK) as 'unexpected, clever, ridiculous but great stuff, crystal ball and all', this interactive comedy has left audiences worldwide laughing and wondering what just happened. Some say it's life-changing, others call it pure nonsense-but no one escapes without a few laughs, some spirit summoning and answers you probably didn't want. **Sold out run in Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025** Reserve your seat for just €2, and at the end of the show, you decide what it was worth (suggested contribution: €10-15). Reservations are held until 10 minutes before the show starts. This is a paid show—you just get to choose how much to pay. **Make sure to reserve your ticket [HERE](https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/01-accurate-english-comedy-night-tickets-1975608368813?aff=meetup)**
