Initiated by RadicalxChange Foundation, Hubs Network and Comms Gardening, they aim to gather diverse perspectives and weave them into richer, more inclusive insights. Sponsored by: [Web3PrivacyNow](https://web3privacy.info/?utm_source=luma) & [Logos](https://logos.co/manifesto?utm_source=luma) *** One topic. Many places. Real voices, weaved into something larger. ----- Extra!!! If you publicly share what your group designed during the Plural event, your team will have the chance to win a bounty to continue developing it. An independent jury will review all submissions and award prizes of €600, €300, and €100 to the top three ideas. Full contest rules and judging criteria coming soon.

Climate Action Book Club: It’s Not That Radical by Mikaela Loach

Climate Action Book Club: It’s Not That Radical by Mikaela Loach

Sat, May 16, 1:00 PM
From Let's talk about climate change
4.8

The climate emergency will not be solved by reading books. But by coming together to read, to educate ourselves, to share what we learn with friends and family, and to take action in our corner of the world we can be a small part of the wave of change humanity desperately needs. Sound like something you want to be a part of? We’d love to have you. Join the Climate Action Book Club this month to read It’s Not That Radical by Mikaela Loach, the young Jamaica-born British activist and author. She’s an infectious and inspiring voice who will get you excited to take action. This event is free, but please get your copy from the wonderful English bookstore that hosts our book club meetings, Backstory. To cover Meetup fees, we also request a €1 donation per attendee. You are welcome (even encouraged) to join us even if you haven't read the book but want to hear and join the discussion about it. Feel free to bring a friend, too. Hope to see you!

Tue, May 5, 4:30 PM
From BARCELONA GREEN DRINKS
4.8

**Invitation** **We are the instruments.** A participatory, improvised, embodied practice that reconnects us to one another through rhythm, voice, and play. This is a guided yet fully improvised experience, using the facilitation tools and methods of [Musica do Circulo](https://www.musicadocirculo.com/en). No prior experience is required, only an openness to connect with other humans in your own fun, light and authentic way. Circle songs are an invitation into a fully immersive, fully improvised musical experience using vocals, body percussion and movement. It draws inspiration from musical embodied rhythm practices from around the world, including call-and-response singing, rhythmic clapping games and circle song traditions. *"We are doing something that is so human and so needed, something that we've forgotten." - Igor, circle participant May 2025* Simply by standing in a circle and connecting with our bodies as our instruments, we are reminded that we can find joy and meaning right here in this present moment, and in the next. **This event is donation-based. What does this mean?** It means pay if and what you can, so that everyone can join. It also means spreading the word and bringing your friends to keep this going strong! If you think your company, organisation, team, or event could benefit from a similar experience — please reach out. That's how we sustain it in the long run. **Doors close at 18.45** [Join the WhatsApp community](https://chat.whatsapp.com/IEKLeWAAIxP0I2MFUaSP1c?mode=gi_t) to contact the organisers and stay up to date on all circles! **About Matteo (facilitator):** Matteo is a creative facilitator who uses embodied practices — music, theatre, play — to spark connection and joy. He has spent the last seven years working with Greenpeace and organising the Climate Justice Camps, a global gathering of thousands of young people from around the world. He is a trained Música do Círculo leader\*.\* *[www.matteodevos.com](http://www.matteodevos.com)*
