MEETING: Central Station 10am. Platform 25, though this may change Or Tempe Station at 10:15 🌸✈️🌸 TIME: 10am Central 10:15 Tempe 🌸⏰🌸 DETAILS: Feel like you’re the only one not heading to Europe for the Winter? Problem solved…. The glorious white sands of Sans Souci and Dolls Point will fix that! We walk from Tempe Station via Kendrick Park and the Cooks River, Cahill Park, Riverine Park, Cahill Park, the Chinese Vegetable and Produce Gardens via Muddy Creek then hit the Coast at Brighton Le Sands…. Our first glimpse of the white sand, and a few aircraft taking off. The coastal walk from there to Dolls Point is easy, flat and paved. This walk has the added bonus of the St George Sailing Club if you’re thirsty and want to take in more of the view at the finish. Easy: Mainly flat, suburban, loads of get out points, up to 14kms.
Easy-Medium: some stairs, a few uneven surfaces, up to 15kms.
Medium: Stairs, rocks, coastal beaches/sand, ups, downs, get out points limited, up to 17kms
Medium-Hard: uneven surfaces, need to take extreme care and be hike fit. Few get out points. Tracks, uneven surfaces, steep inclinations and limited resources. 🌸👯‍♀️🌸 WALKING GUIDELINES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Carry sufficient food and water (2 litres) for the expected conditions of the walk. Pls don’t separate from the group, unless you let someone know, preferably me.
