Sewcial and Handmade Garment Swap!

It's Me Made May and time for another sewcial and handmade clothing swap! Here's your chance to share some of your garments and get something new. Handmade accessories are also welcome. You do not need to bring anything to participate. If this is full, RSVP on Pie [here](https://getpie.at/ov5HEJhn). Go through your closet, see what you no longer wear, and pass along them along to another sewist. It's also a great time to meet other people who sew, discuss sewing plans, projects currently underway, or get tips on a sewing challenge you are facing. Please label garments with the size, pattern, and measurements (bust, waist, hip). If your garments are not taken, you will need to take them back. You do not need to bring a garment to attend. Garments that are not chosen will need to go back home with you. You can bring any leftovers to the next garment swap. **\* Feel free to bring snacks to share. Sparkling water will be provided.** We'll have four rounds of choosing, five if there are a lot of attendees/garments. If you brought: * One garment, you can participate in the first round of choosing, * Two garments, you can participate in the first two rounds, * Three garments, you can participate in the first three rounds. * For the fourth round, everyone can take as many garments as they want, including people who did not bring a garment. **AGENDA** * 10:30-11:15 am - Set up tables, sewcialize, place garments on tables, set out snacks, drinks * 11:15-11:30 am - Announcements and introductions - everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves * 11:30 am-12 pm - Choose garments, group photo & sewcialize! Feel free to wear something you made to this meetup. :) During the introductions, you can mention the pattern and fabric for one of the things you made. Plant Swap - Luludi Living Art - FREE Community Event

**Join us for Luludi Living Art’s Spring Plant Swap, a free community event for plant lovers of all kinds.** Bring 1–3 healthy plants, rooted cuttings, plant babies, or small pots to exchange and take home the same number. It’s a fun and easy way to refresh your collection, share with others, and connect with fellow plant enthusiasts in the community. Whether you’re a seasoned plant parent or just starting your collection, all are welcome. Please bring only healthy plants and label them if possible so everyone can swap with confidence. Upcycle Social Sew/ Art/Fix it/ Finish it! (In person)

Come over and get crafty with us. Camaraderie and clever upcycling ideas circulate at our sessions! What do you want to repair, reuse, or reinvent today? Choose your adventure... Option 1: Social sew! BYO sewing machine, use a loaner, or bring your hand sewing project or mending. We also have some discarded fabric/ clothes ready to cut up and play with and some basic sewing tools, as well. Option 2: Fix it! Repairs are less odious - even fun - with friends, new and old! Bring your broken tchotchkes, dilapidated heirlooms, or jewelry in need of a makeover. We can provide some glues and hand tools. Option 3: Finish it! Bring along an unfinished collage or craft project and get your momentum back. First time on us, $5 donation, no one turned away for lack of funds. Some snacks provided. We invite you to bring a vegetarian snack to share. Please change your RSVP on meetup if you can't make it, so someone else can have a spot. We're looking forward to creating with you!
