Clothe A Child Volunteer Event

This is an event that is hosted by Give Back Madison Foundation for shopping for clothes for children of the YWCA that has been going on for several years and is always in need of volunteers to shop for the roughly 35-40 children so we've had this on meetup the past few years and thankfully having been able to get some extra help. Unlike the past few years there will be some parents(bus is expected to arrive at around 5:30 from YWCA) there to help with some of the shopping. But we could we still use a few people to help with the shopping, coordinating with my on the checkout process/timing and helping shoppers figure out the dollar amount of clothes collected. If you arrive a bit late we'll be in the children's clothes area of the store, which is generally in the middle(look for people with carts and piece(s) of paper.

Information is below.

• There will be an information sheet provided for each child that lists their age, gender, sizes and which items of clothing they are in need of.
• There is a budget of $50(funds are provided by the organization so are you just shopping and $50 limit is to keep things even per child and future years(pre-tax, there is an tax-exempt card that will be used for this event) per child. Generally items need to be clothing related(shoes, pants, shirts etc.) rather than accessory type things.
• Once most of the children are shopped for there will be a separate checkout that is open to continually check the clothes out at.
• Afterward(usually around 7:00) if there is some interest we have gone out to dinner somewhere nearby to socialize.

It will be cross-posted between a couple groups-Madison Professionals and Madison Volunteers Group so there will be people from a couple groups there.
