Quick Note: I have no idea why meetup has them listed as Ling Live Beerworks, but the location looks correct haha Maybe just use your own GPS if you're driving to be extra safe haha

Hey everyone! Don't worry, we'll be back to our usual days next weekend. Many of us are going to be out of town for the start of the weekend, but we thought a Sunday brewery event would be a nice change of pace anyway. Winding down the weekend over some great beer and food sounds like a good way to ease into a new work week.

Long Live Beerworks is a fantastic brewery tucked away in an old renovated mill complex on the West End of Providence that doesn't get the love it deserves. Their Providence taproom is on the cozy side compared to larger spots like Proclamation, but it still offers a solid amount of space. Their mezzanine is a fun place to sit and look out over the bottom floor bar. Plus you can look down at the equipment where they brew their beer on the far side of the taproom. Long Live also has a bunch of tables outside, which is where we usually like to sit when the weather is on our side. Their patio is tucked in between two of the mill buildings and it makes for a nice little relaxing nook to enjoy some drinks. Plus Long Live tends to be a lot more quiet/relaxed compared to some of the bigger breweries like Narragansett, so it's easy to just sit back and chat as a larger group together.

If you're not a beer person, don't worry there's non beer options available. Long Live Beerworks has wine and cider options for people who want something alcoholic without the hops. Sadly there's no hard liquor sorry. They also have N/A options for anyone just looking to hangout without the booze since it's a school night. They have both N/A beer and canned mocktails. When it comes to beer, they have something for every palate. However, if you're a fan of more hoppy beer you're in for a treat. They have a great selection of IPAs and DIPAs on tap since that's their specialty.

Long Live Beerworks also hosts pop up food events regularly for guests to enjoy some grub along with their beer. Pal Monte will be on site serving up Dominican & Puerto Rican comfort food until 5pm if you come hungry. They'll either be in the taproom kitchen or more likely in a food truck just beyond the brewery's patio.

Check out the link below to see the Brewery's full tap list.

Just a quick note. There is a fantastic speakeasy named Juniper located in the building behind Long Live. Typically when we go here on a weekend night we'd try to stop in if we're not too big of group. Sadly they're closed on Sundays :( Long Live also closes at 6pm, so that will be the latest we can stay.

Please reach out to the host(s) directly if you have any questions, or leave a comment. We'll post our location in the comments when we arrive but it's a smaller spot so it shouldn't be tough to find us.

See you all then!
