Bike Old Lyme Country Roads; ~20 miles 398 FERRY ROAD, OLD LYME

Arrive 10:15AM Begin ride by 1030am

Meet at Ferry Landing State Park (DEP); 398 Ferry Road, Old Lyme. Approx 20 miles.

Description: Heading out of Ferry Road onto Shore Drive w/ overlooks of tributaries/marsh lands and farms. Out to a shoreline community where we will refresh under a beach gazebo (bring a snack and beverage); The ride is 75% of secondary roads with little or no traffic, 25% on route 1 with mostly wide shoulders.

Must wear helmet and have bike in good working order and have good enough endurance to ride with group – Maps will be provided so if you need to go slower or faster you will find your way.

Lunch at Hangry Goose. A restaurant with outdoor seating overlooking the Lieutenant River. After lunch we will ride through historical Lyme Center returning to our cars.
