About us
A Learning, Support and Strategies group built for ADD/ADHD Adults. We welcome and celebrate our LGBTQ+ community members. Come to a safe and open space to learn more about ADD and ADHD from a professional and passionate Adult ADHD Coach.
The purpose of this group is to build community, skills, and confidence. So that we can have the most diverse and supportive group, most events are held online, but I hope to build this into a community that might also have member-led, in-person meetups anywhere our members are gathered.
There are a variety of Meetup types, for example:
ADHD Learning Presentations -
These are designed to improve understanding of what ADHD is and where it shows up in our lives.
Free Accountabilibuddy Work Sessions -
Body Doubling sessions to help keep focused attention for an hour at a time.
Life-Strategy Focus Sessions -
These help identify and implement strategies to use to tackle common ADHD Adulting pitfalls, like paying bills, cleaning up, planning a workday.

Free Body Doubling Session
·OnlineOnlineOne hour power session using body doubling. Ok to use for work or personal progress!
Bring that item you've been procrastinating on. Maybe something that needs a good pencil to paper brainstorming session. Or maybe you need to sit down and write an essay, or balance your checking account, or plan out a better laundry schedule, or put together lunches for the week. It doesn't matter. If you need to focus your attention, let's use the pack mentality to help give us an incredibly productive hour. Please plan to stay on screen the whole time, the point is to not wander mentally or physically.
We will start with a short introduction where you just give your first name and what your intention is for the hour. For example "I'm Meredith and I want to create 8 slides for my next presentation". Once our intentions are set, we work independently, together, creating a focused atmosphere to help smooth the way.
Intention setting will happen right away (which is a powerful part of this whole thing), so feel free to sign in a few minutes early. I will do my best to let you back in if you do get disconnected mid-session for any reason.
Doors close as soon as intentions have been set by the group, sometimes as early as 3 minutes into the meeting. If that happens, you're welcome to wait in the Zoom waiting room and join us at half past, when we take our 2-minute break. This is not at all a punishment for being late, just a protection for everyone's attention during the hour! No one will be let in after break.

ADHD: Pillz Vs. Skillz
·OnlineOnlineTonight we will be talking about two different treatment options for ADHD, medication management and skill building. I'll go over some basics of both, we will look at the pros and cons, and talk about what you can try when you hit a wall with your treatment.
This meeting will start with a presentation on the topic and then we will open the floor to discussion with the group where we can talk about our experiences. My hope is that everyone will walk away with sense of belonging and understanding from the community and maybe a better understanding of their treatment options.
To make it abundantly clear, I am not a physician, all medication choices should be made with your doctor or prescriber. The information I share regarding medications and medication expectations will be sourced from experts and medical journals and will be referenced in the materials.
