Friday morning laps and coffee at Astoria Pool 🏊🏼‍♂️☕️

Let's meet up Friday morning to swim laps at Astoria Pool.

I will be swimming Friday morning from around 7:30 to 8:30. Event only cancels if the pool is closed to due to thunderstorms. This is an outdoor pool. Picture of pool is on this event page. It is 45 meters in length so 5 meters short of Olympic length. Lap swimming opens at 7:00 so people are welcome to come at opening time but I can't make it before 7:30.

The best thing about Astoria Pool is that next door lies the best coffee shop in the city, Kinship coffee. Let's meet up after lap swims at Kinship for coffee. The address of this Kinship coffee shop is: 23-92 21st St. It's one block from the pool. Coffee after is not required but would be nice to sit down and chat for half an hour if people are up to that.

If people want to work from Kinship as they have tables for remote work I can ask Kinship if it would be possible to drop off laptop bags before the swim. Let me know if anyone wants me to ask.

I will post in the comments section if there are delays, cancelations or if I can't make it due to unforeseen circumstances. But I still hope people meet up.
