The endangered Goliath grouper is the largest of the western north Atlantic groupers. It can reach about 800 lbs and over 6.5ft in total length. We will be doing a DOUBLE DIP if conditions allow on the M/V Castor. We will be grilling food on board ! This trip will be departing at 1:00pm. Please arrive 45 minutes early, at 12:15pm Every year in August large[masked] lb Goliath groupers start to show up in South Florida.Sometimes as many as 100 GOliaths can be on the M/V Castor at one time. Bait balls combine with the Goliath for a show you do not want to miss. You must be AOW (or above) to enjoy this experience. Ask us about our AOW certification courses that can be done at this location, on this date if you are currently Open Water certified. The charter fee for this specialty dive is $70 to cover the extended range we cover to visit this uniques site, and we will be grilling food on board.
